Game Information

Last meeting
In Week 15 of last season, Greg Camarillo's 64-yard overtime touchdown reception helped the the Dolphins snap a 16-game losing streak with a 22-16 win, which would end up as Miami's only victory of 2007.

Streaks
The Dolphins have won five of six regular-season meetings with the Ravens.

Last week
The Ravens turned the ball over five times, including three interceptions by Joe Flacco, in a 31-13 loss to the Colts. ... Miami's offense continued to make big plays, but Matt Schaub's 3-yard touchdown run with 3 seconds remaining defeated the Dolphins, 29-28.

Keep your eye on ...
Ravens' O-line woes: Baltimore placed starting RG Marshal Yanda on IR with a knee injury on Tuesday, posing an even bigger challenge to an offensive line that gave up four sacks to the Colts last week. Yanda's potential replacements are veterans Adam Terry, Chris Chester and rookie Oniel Cousins.

Flacco's struggles: The loss of Yanda cannont be encouraging for Flacco, who has recently struggled following solid performances against the Bengals and Browns. Flacco has thrown just one touchdown compared to seven interceptions through five games, including three last week.

Miami's third-down conversions: It should come as no surprise that in their two wins the Dolphins have converted 11 of 23 third downs (47.8 percent). In three losses, Miami has converted just 22.8 percent of its attempts on third down, including just 2-of-10 against Houston last week.

Did you know?
The Ravens defense ranks first in the NFL, holding opponents to 220.8 yards per game. ... The Ravens have not allowed a 100-yard rusher in 24 straight games, the longest current streak in the NFL. ... The Dolphins are 4-0 against the Ravens in Miami. ... Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown is aiming for his fifth consecutive game with a touchdown.

Is it too early in the season to start using the words "must win"?

Flacco needs to adopt the classic Ravens quarterback strategy. DON'T THROW INTERCEPTIONS. That's it. When he feels pressure, throw the ball away. When he has no open receiver, throw the ball away. When you're in the process of being tackled, GO DOWN and don't try to make an amazing pass.

Yes, we'll suck on offense, but we won't be hurting our defense, and we'll at least have a chance to win the game.

Maybe later in his career, when he has a better offensive line and is MUCH more comfortable in the Ravens offense (and has improved), he can try to be a gun-slinger, but for now, just don't throw picks and I'll be a happy camper.

Suggs with the interception and TD!

It's been a while since our defense scored for us.

And with Flacco taking 10 seconds to throw up a long pass that always comes up short, we're going to need all of the defensive scoring we can get.

Our pass defense is absolutely horrible today. Run defense? Incredible as always.
