You guys should find out if you can get a personalized style template used for the Jays board.

It would be slick to have this specific forum customized with blue and white

The big question is:

Who's doing the Daily Papers' thread here?

Kidd Wannabe wrote:Congrats to your new titles guys, you deserve it.

I'd like to ask ONE question. Are you guys going to designate your own stickied game threads or is it going to run similar to the Raptors board traditional way of having the same poster make the game thread until the team loses?

I think that'd be a nice tradition to carry on here since I'm sure most of us are both Jays and Raps fans.

Its outlined in the rules on the first post, but I figured no one would actually read it. We would like to continue the tradition of having the same person do the game thread if the team wins, and switch it up if they lose.

We would love for people to volunteer to do daily papers, please PM me or STJ.

Finally a Jays board. This is awesome at least now most of the Blue Jays talk will be organized. Not saying that the Blue Jays thread was bad but this is a lot better.

I think we definitely need a RealGM Blue Jays gathering. I'd be all up for it.

Weird how there's so many Jays fans posting.

Yet it was always the same old 7 guys posting in the massive Blue Jays thread.

Definitely got to get used to this. Gonna miss that thread though because all posts are always in one spot.

Suggestion...

What do you think about doing a Series Thread. So for each series we play we start a new thread, no game threads. That way there is no need to start one everyday, since we are playing the same team.

That sounds like a very good idea with so many games.

Nick and I are considering that. Our only issue with it is that once the board starts growing, we don't want to start having 80-page series threads. We'll see how things go.

That is another very good point, after the NBA season is done I can see a lot of Raptors fan moving over here to chat. Plus if the Jays get hot new fans will start moving over here everyday.

Wow my god I just saw this place. The old blue thread finally retires. It's sad almost, there's gotta be years in there.

The new forum is great. I love having forums for all my sports. Congrats on the titles wtb and stj. Two regular contributors and excellent choices, IMO. No doubt this board will become the biggest for the baseball index. No one city can compete with all of Canada.

Here's an idea for this board:

Since there are 162 games and most series are set up to be 3 or 4 games against the same team, why not have a series thread vs. a game thread?

Like "KC Royals @ Toronto Blue Jays - 3 game series" and contain all discussion regarding the series.

I just wanted to say that this forum is a breath of fresh air from the Raptors forum ... Posters are not as hostile here

Where are all the Jays' fans?? This board should be just as crazy as the Raps board.

Duffman is a Jay's fan, oh yeah!!!

Seriously though, this team needs to be rebuilt.
