He was a good slot receiver for the falcons.

They got their speed guy. Looking forward to watching this offense. They definitely got pressure on them to deliver, but I think its realistic to expect some growing pains the first year. That said I think they should at least "push" for a playoff spot. In that upper range at 8-8, 9-7 this year.

What makes this signing interesting is that Gabriel isn't a slot receiver. In his two seasons with the Falcons he played less than 10% of his snaps in the slot. I think Gabriel is the best candidate to fill the Tyreek Hill role in this offense. Granted, he won't come anywhere near the type of production, but he'll stretch the field, move around the formation and create unpredictability.

I like this signing. The theme of today's acquisitions is that Nagy wants players who can move all over the field and aren't necessarily pegged as "outside receiver" or "slot receiver." With Robinson, Meredith, Gabriel, Burton and Cohen, you have five players who can lineup in a lot of spots.
