Ok, its an odd time to write this, since we just forced another turnover, but the difference between our defense through the first 4 games and the last 2 has been night and day.

Offense/mitch are expected to go through some growing pains, but this team is below average at best if the defense isn't playing like they were the first 4 games.

Nice drive to see from Mitch. Probably too little too late though.

Did not hold the ball. Made a read, planted, and threw.

Neither our offense nor our defense played well, but ST lost us that game.

Offense was bad, but still put up 450 yards and 31 points.
Defense was bad, but still forced 3 turnovers.
ST Gave up 2 TDs. Did nothing redeeming.

This team still has a lot of room to grow. Playoffs may be unlikely but hopefully we can make a run next season.
I'll still watch every game.

entire team feeds off the pass rush. When it dies...

on that note, Floyd isn't a bust, but his upside is a bust.

I'm starting to wonder what Nagy and the coaching staff did during that bye week because all 3 phases have looked really bad at one point or another the last 2 weeks.

Can't beat the Pats with 14 points coming from their special teams.

Mitch is really getting through some adversity and making some good plays. He's going to continue to have growing pains but I'm liking where he's going in his career right now.

mitch on pace to set bears single season records for yards, TDs, completion% (minimum 150 passes)

We've never had a 30 TD season or 4000 yard passer.

Mitch isn't the problem. Remarkably after all the issues we only lost to the Pats by 7.

PATs help vastly. Clearly outclassed. If Mack was 100% that would help. But it wasn't as close as the final score.

Nothing is the sole problem for this team right now. Each phase has made blunders these past two weeks.

Maybe Barton was right about the BYE week coming at the worst possible time.

Special teams gave up 2 tds but the defense also set up two tds with turnovers .

Today was a huge failure by the Bears offense against a pretty weak Patriots defense . We had 3 drives over 40 yards today one involved Mitch having a 40 yard run , the second was at the end of the game against the Pats prevent and the 3rd was a pick .

Thats just not gonna get it done against a good team . Our defense is good but the NFl rules favor the offense and Brady has seen every good defense of the last damn 18 years so I didn't expect our defense to do anything more than what they did today but at home I expected our offense to move the ball ,keep the crowd in it and force it to come down to forcing someone else on the Pats with no Gronk to make a play .

We followed up the opening drive of the second half with a pick then a 3 and out which led to a blocked punt ,then another pick :o

I know Mitch will have growing pains but accuracy was supposed to be his strength ....

I was surprised to hear during the game when the announcers said he was 2nd in the league at converting 20+ yard passes as far as total completions is concerned.

I'd love to see good overall stats on passes down the field and where they stack up against other QBs.

If your Tabor you have to be voncerned about the lack of attention to detail. Why even kick the ball to Patterson knowing how many returns he had coming in? And how do you not notice hightower was put on special teams? Those errors were the diff in the game.

Obviously a disappointing couple weeks but coming into the season if you told me we'd be 3-3 after 6 weeks with losses of 1, 3, and 7 points, with Trubisky making huge strides, I'd be okay with it.

He's not perfect. He's missing some gimmies but that's okay. He's not Mahomes and that's okay. Just need to keep seeing improvement out of him. Next year will be more telling.

Special teams continues to make these errors.

One of the most annoying one is instead of just taking the touchback, the return man tries running it. Going down at the 10 yard line when you can start at the 25 is just stupid.
