Turner To Install Shotgun In The Offense

Finally!

Rex could really benefit from the Shotgun seeing how he's pretty short and he would be able to see the field better. Plus, I remember back when Rex was in Florida under Spurrier's system they would use a lot of Shotguns so I think he's very comfortable with it.

Good job Turner.

Also allows Rex to throw a few more deep balls which is he's best asset.

Good call putting it in, but call it and use it properly.

About 6 months too late, but thanks God it's finally being instituted.

Yeah, its about time.

Now that they are going to use shotgun more, do you think the bears will look wr in the first. If so, who do you think is the second best in the draft?

I wouldnt mind Meachem if we could get him.

this will help on 3rd downs where we Know the blitz is coming. I can't believe we only ran shotgun for like 3 plays all year.

From the draft, after Calvin Johnson, I like Ted Ginn Jr.

He is a very quick, and has an explosive first step which allows him to isolate himself quickly from his defender. I think he has a lot of upside to become a good WR, and being around Moose in his rookie year wouldn't be a bad thing, either. ;)

I think the 6th pick (should we get it) would be too high to take Ginn, so we could trade down, and still get something extra along with Ginn in a middle first rounder, should he be our target.

Bears shotgun offense? What is it. When Rex screws up the entire crowd points a shotgun at him?

Jk

I'm actually a pretty big bears fan. Hope to see em do well again.

So, in a nutshell, we're just giving Rex a little more room to run farther backwards!?! :o
