I guess there's no greater authority on the matter than the play-by-play guy for the Orioles.

Never mind that, when told the story, a Hall of Fame rep said the stain has dulled to the brownish color typical of dried blood.

Unless, do you think

Talking about it on Outside the Lines, showed a recent picture of the sock and it has turned that brownish color.

Who gives a crap?

Schilling needs to STFU and pitch instead of reveling in his glory days.

???

1. Schilling didn't start this controversy; it was the Gary Thorne, the Orioles broadcaster.

2. Schilling will never stop reveling in his glory days. That's like asking a fat person to stop eating.

I have a feeling Jason Varitek, through some kind of otherworldly telekinetic channel, caused Schilling's ankle to spontaneously stigmata-ize. That must have been what happened because, as we all know, Jason Varitek is Jesus with a better slugging percentage.

Are you trying to say Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball?

Do we really care about Schillings' bloody ankle from three years ago. And are the Orioles that boring that Thorne has to talk about another team.

Kid...you're not very smart are you?

The fact that you think this is even a possibility takes away from the credibility of any post you make for the next 300 posts.
"The guy is an idiot," Pedroia said regarding Cabrera. "I dropped my bat. It kind of freaked me out. I was upset they took him out of the game. He is good to hit. He's 9-15. The guy [stinks]."

I dislike Schilling enough to believe anything about him, however far fetched it may be.

You know what's great? Sportscenter LEADING OFF with this story. Good God. Even if he did paint it on (which is very, very clear that he didn't), who cares? He still pitched a hell of a game with a broken ankle or whatever the hell he had. But, hey, let's make this a gigantic story, shall we?

Enough to say things that lower the IQ of your peers around you?

I'll believe that Schilling painted the sock when the doctor involved says there was no way Schilling would have been bleeding. Until then it's a pretty far fetched conspiracy theory.

I'll entertain it as long as ESPN doesn't lead with Bonds...

Even though I'm a Cubs fan I got free tickets to the Sox/Sox 19 inning game last year and I was "taunting" Schilling when he was warming up. I was saying "Where's the ketchup?"

Way to take your life into your hands. Never taunt a fatass with the chant of "where's the ketchup?". He's liable to eat you.
