round 1- Brady Quinn QB
round 2- Eric Wright CB
round 5- Brandon McDonald CB
round 6- Melila Purcell DE
round 7- Chase Pittman DE
round 7- Syndric Steptoe WR/Return Specialist

I only gave the Browns an A because I couldn't give them a better grade. If I had to choose between Thomas and Quinn I wanted Thomas. But to get both, is much better than I could have asked for in this draft.

I guess whatever gremlin keeps going around to Browns forums and anonymously giving the team an F has made it here also.

This has to be an A. Great draft. Glad to see you say it as well Outlaw.

Its probably a Balitmore or Steeler fan who voted F.

I'm as much of an optimist as the next Browns fan (aren't we all).

Ya, who voted F?

I voted B. I would give them an A after the first pick, and while I am exstatic to have Brady in town, I'm just not sure about the price. Jerry Jones owned Savage in that trade. In order to move up 14 spots, we had to give up our 1st round pick next year? Come on, be realistic guys, there is about a 5% chance that our pick is lower than 22.

The Browns do get bonus points for picking a potential fan favorite in Syndric Steptoe.

"And Steptoe returns the kick for a touchdown!!!"

It doesnt really matter much if where we would have drafted next year we would have taken a QB anyways so we just got it a year early like everyone is saying. People are really making the trade out worst then it really is we gave up a potential top 10, really who knows how we do next year if we dont have the crushing injuries we always seem to have, and we got a top 10 in Quinn anyways. It really doesnt look that bad if you look at it this way we "switched" first rounders, gave Dallas a 3rd, a 4th, and switched 6th, and we got a 2nd rounder so in the end it really doesnt turn out looking to bad. I much rather have Quinn now then be sitting at the top of the draft again hoping that one next years QB's is just as good.

easily an A in my mind. Our day one was flat out glorious, and in no way do I think we gave up to much. In fact, I thought it was a bargain. Big big A. Day twos are almost always ungradable because its unlikely to really nab a pure talent in day two, but we managed to fill a MAJOR hole along our dline by nabbing not one, but TWO DE prospects. One prospect who is pretty stout and is a hard worker (Pittman) and another who actually has some potential in Purcell. Also added another WR/PR talent. Between Wright, McDonald, Streptoe, Harrison, Wright, and Carter we should be able to walk out with a PR. Also nice to see that we have depth along our secondary and oline. I'm hoping the rumors that Shaffer is demanding a trade are false (prays)..I'm not too excited about a 7-9mil cap hit...

I gave it a B. The price for the trades were too much for me to give this an A. I don't hate this draft by any means though. Our first day is either glorious or disastrous. There is no middle ground.

The 1st rounder that we gave away for next year in no way effects this years draft. Other than that we only gave up a 2,3,4,6 to get a 1,2,6,7. We come out way ahead in that respect. You really can't ding our draft 2 years in a row for this trade, so you can consider it part of this year, but then you can't view it as part of next years in that case.
