10-7, wildcard, lose first playoff game, but exciting season and lots to build on for the next year.

9-8 feels about right. Barry holds us back just enough to miss the playoffs but Love looks the part.

Rodge had Driver in his prime, Jennings in year 3, James Jones in year 2, Jordy as a rookie, and Donald Lee in year 5 in 2008.
He also had a **** Defensive Coordinator, a D that lacked some pieces, and was playing a 1st place schedule.
Rodge went 6-10 in his first year.
The schedule is the weakest I can recall, the receiving threats are young, young, young, and Joe Barry remains the Defensive Coordinator.
8-9 is not out of the question.

12-5. Packers were doing some interesting things in the preseason on defense. Most notably with all the stunts they were tossing out there. The offense overall is young but the RBs and the OL are top tier. Barry in the Box will be a revelation for this defense.

10-7. Cautiously optimistic. I see all the divisional games as toss-ups and they only have 3 other games against the top half of the PFF preseason power rankings (KC, LAC and NYG). Basically I'm guessing the Packers take care of business vs. weak opponents most of the time but have a few stinkers.

I really don't know. The defense should be somewhere between above average and legitimately good and I think Love is going to be a winner. The offense and team in general is so damn young though. Somewhere between 7 and 9 wins I guess?
only a fan, only an opinion

Re: 2023 Packers and NFL prediction thread
Put me down for 10 wins, with the added prediction Anders costs us an "easy" win we were favored in, but comes up huge in at least one upset victory.
Love is a top 15 fantasy qb.
We reach complete consensus that AJ Dillon is just a guy.
Watson soars, but struggles with injury, opening up room for Jayden Reed to bust out around week 12. We go into next season viewing Watson as a rich man's MVS, Reed as our star, and Doubs looking like an outstanding 3, very solid 2.
Musgrave may not ever have an explosive game like Tonyan's anomaly, but he'll make us forget the litany of meh TEs since finley.
I have absolutely zero idea what happens with the defense. Immense talent, but I fear the worst case scenario is another mixed year, and age and maturity buy joe barry another year, especially if we hit 10 wins.

You gotta make it sexy! Hips and nips, otherwise I'm not eating.

7-10
Kicking game costs us 2 wins. Offense shows teases of being explosive but is just too inexperienced to bring home W's. D will suck again against mobile QB's.
Barry is fired at the end of the season and we switch to a 4-3 next year.
Biggest surprise upside is by Colby Wooden.

This will be locked on Thursday
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

They have Eagles over Ravens in the SB.

Eagles are definitely the favorite in the NFC. AFC is more wide open.

Such a weird ass premise for an article.
"Dak got hurt and it derailed the Cowboys season, and now they have the #2 pick." ???
An ESPN article that's even less useful than running a sim season on Madden with the injury rate meter up.

I mean I could make the argument simming a season with no injuries is also weird given there are always injuries. In general predicitions are based on full health and yet we all know injuries will have some sort of effect on every team. So then all predicitions are just useless
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"
