Still surprised he wasn't cut.

I bet he gets traded for a low draft pick before the deadline

Yea at this point I'd be stunned if Nijman isn't traded before the deadline

Remember when Amari Rodgers was our return man until friggin' NOVEMBER last year?

Looking forward to a whole season of Nixon.

Tonight was a great example of what I'm worried about if Watson & Doubs can't go Sunday. Even Pat Mahomes struggled with basically no proven WRs to throw to.

I love Watson and Doubs but thinking of them as proven WRs is funny.

Counterpoint: Luke Musgrave about to do his best Travis Kelce impression on Sunday and finally show Packer fans how awesome it is to have an absolute freak who can stretch the middle of the field vertically.

I hope you're right and am sort of buying into the Musgrave hype, but at the same time Laporta had the best game by a rookie TE since 2019 last night, rookie TEs just rarely make a big impact

This is one of those things that makes you question the coaching staff. I can't remember ever seeing another NFL player who so consistently couldn't avoid running into contact almost immediately. The worst part was legit everyone could see it, and it went on for well over a year.

I think it was a bit of '**** we picked this guy in the 3rd round let's try to make it work' combined with NFL coaches reluctance to try Nixon since he had never done it before.

I can give the coaching staff a pass for not immediately going to Nixon since he never returned in the NFL and very little in college, but why they kept running Amari out there week after week was befuddling to me

Pitts had over 1000 yards in 2021.

Notice I said rarely, not never. Pitts was a top 5 pick, not a 2nd rounder

Will be really curious how MLF will scheme up any sort of deep shots without Watson. None of our other WRs are really deep shot types. If Doubs plays I think that'll help quite a but I am curious.
