For the sake of insufferable discourse I'm glad it was a flag by like they different penalties.

He missed it on the opening drive vs. Tampa.
That's why I made that post.

Insane to me still going for 2 after the penalty. There’s being aggressive, and then there’s being aggressively stupid. Campbell screwed the pooch there. Poverty franchise moment.

Overcoaching is his downfall as a coach.

Re: ATL: Week 17
So was there also an illegal formation penalty or no? John Parry initially mentioned it and I've seen a couple mentions of it on social media but it doesn't seem like a lot of talk about it. If there was the whole controversy doesn't even matter does it? It'd have still been a penalty

Looks like he did try to report. But he was uncovered anyway so it's moot
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Re: ATL: Week 17
Also why are the Lions running 3 different OL towards the ref if only 1 is reporting as eligible? It can't be to be a diversion because they literally announce before the play who reports as eligible. They did on this play as well so why didn't the Lions coaches or players notice the wrong player got announced?

Lots of chatter about gambling but this had no bearing on that. Detroit covered either way.

This doesn't make sense to me though because the ref literally announces before the play who is reporting as eligible so how are they fooling anyone?

Ok so it was an illegal formation regardless so the play still wouldn't have counted

Re: ATL: Week 17
Another good point, why would Dallas bother coveting someone they think is ineligible?

Bryce Young 7-11 for 36 yards and sacked 3 times so far. Yet he's having a far better day than Bailey Zappe. 3-9, 19 yards, 3 INTs.

And Baker Mayfield, he of the perfect passer rating at Lambeau 2 weeks ago, is 5 of 10 for 43 yards and a pick while leading TB to 0 points in the first half.
We do what we do in Green Bay.
