He got out of that pretty well. He's almost finished up the 7th as well.

I mean it's way too early in the season but man the Twins are getting no respect from many baseball analysts. This team looks a lot better than they were last year.

Most people forget that we played a lot of last year with Radke (and that Radke wasn't too good early on) and Liriano in the rotation, that we have more options in the rotation now than we did then, and assume that the gains made by some of our hitters last year won't hold up. I'd rather they underestimate us than overestimate us though.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

I don't remember who it was, but someone on espn said we are one of the most consistent teams in mlb.

It was on baseball tonight, It wasn't Ravech, Kurkjian, or Olney. It was the other guy that's only there cuz he used to play baseball.

Well i would love to say good series but the O's played like garbage just too many dumb mistakes. The Twins however looked real good like they always do. Good luck on the season.

The comments that were made last night about the line-up all trusts each other, thus no one goes out trying to do it all himself, is a perfect way to put it. They play as a team who only cares about winning as a team, not one guy getting his numbers.

They're light-hearted and good natured. Nathan makes it back to the dome after his wife has a baby and the whole team surrounds him.

Ortiz looked good last night, got himself out of the jam, and of course the bullpen comes in and shows it's dominance yet again.

Friday's game will be key.

Is Santana pitching on his normal schedule, or are the giving him an extra day off?

Friday - Ponson? Silva?
Saturday - Silva? Ponson? Santana?

Their reasoning for sending Garza back down was that he wouldn't get many starts early on because of their days off, does that mean Silva's getting skipped?

It will be Silva on Friday, Ponson on Saturday, and Santana on five days rest.
