The Ledger - The Colts have traded running back Luke Lawton to the Eagles for a conditional draft pick in 2009, according to The Ledger.
Lawton played in 11 games last season at running back and special teams for Indianapolis.
Not a big surprise to see Luke go. He was more of a fullback, and the Colts system doesn't really utilize a fullback all that much. I guess this bodes favorably for some of the other backs: Rhodes, Dorsey, and Hart as it means an open roster spot perhaps. Best of luck to him. He played fairly well on special teams and game situations when give the opportunity.
