Anyone want David Carr?

Post#1 » by Wade3Iverson » Mon Apr 2, 2007 7:43 am

I really think he has a lot of potential and it hust could never be harnessed with their crappy O-Line. Shaub is going to have no more success than Carr ever did.

I think we should probably pick him up.

Yay or Nay?

The Vikings need a veteran QB, Carr would be as good as anyone out there.

He'd be the best QB on the roster!

The thing about bringing in Carr, it wouldn't be insurance, he'd be our starter. And honestly i dont see him playing much better here than he did in Houston. Yeah he probably wouldn't get sacked as much cuz we have a much better OLine, but our WR's and TE's are very weak... and he's always struggled to find an open reciever, it would be much worse here.

i say we stick with TJack, not yet a dangerous QB.. .but hes shown he's got all the tools necessary to be solid. he's quick, got a cannon for an arm and childress loves him. he's no McNabb, but he'll be able to put up similar numbers to Carr IMO

I'd rather have TJax and Carr duke it out than TJax and Bollinger, and I'd much rather have TJax as insurance for Carr(or vice versa) than Bollinger as anything more than our 3rd stringer.

Interesting place. Delhomme might be a prick, but he is a decent starter. I am surprised at this
