Was Robert Smith better than Chuck Foreman? I never saw Foreman play.

I will say no, but it depends on what statistics you look at.

Chuck Foreman:

93 games (Robert Smith: 98)
5 time pro bowler (Robert Smith: 2)
5887 rushing yds as Viking (Smith: 6818)
52 rushing TDs (Smith: 32)
350 catches (Smith: 178)
23 Rec. TDs (Smith: 6)

Both Smith and Foreman had relatively short careers. I prefer Smith but it's essentially a tie when it comes to performance.

One things for sure. It isn't Hershell!
