In the fading light of a January day out west, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning will meet again.

I can't help but wonder if Sunday's AFC Championship Game between the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos might be our final look at these two quarterbacking giants going head-to-head with so much at stake.

Fourteen times they've waged war, with Brady winning 10 of those 14 matchups, including two of three in the playoffs.

These two teams have something like $20 million on IR. More like $50 if you go by cap number.

Just give Peyton enough room to piss himself and be ready to make a play when he does.

Suggs who I hate just spoke truth,

If manning can't get to the Super Bowl with this team and Brady gets to the Super Bowl with this team, then they can't ever compare the two again.

Seriously? Those plays drive me insane. Third and three and they go for a long bomb to a freaking special teams player of all people. I know hes played some WR but come on.

I've been saying since the 2006 AFC title game loss that we'll never win a championship with Josh McDaniels as our OC, and I still stand by that statement.

Pats need to get it going on offense or else this will be a long night for them..

Freaking 63 degrees and sunny in Denver. Perfect conditions with half the Pats defense out. Football gods have got to be Manning fans.

Pats need a TD on this drive.

Brady has thrown a ton of bad passes in this game. Like most of em weren't even close.

Epic performance by Manning though..not so great by Brady. A decent game off of him and we would have had a chance in this one. Shame.

Brady is still the greatest! What he has done this year with that team with all the challenges ...Amazing...

Honestly, Pats had too much to overcome. Their 3 best defensive players- injured. Brady's best player on O with torn ACL and as crazy as Hernandez turned out to be, he was a top 3-4 TE in the league, he was ridiculously good.. Too bad the Pats were so crippled and Brady overthrew a few passes that should've been TDs or huge gains...

Austin Collie and Edelman played very well... Amendola disappeared.

Btw, I got 1 question, can you guys tell me what happened to Thompkins, him and Edelman were the best receivers in the first several games of the season, yet he hasn't played at all and it seemed like him and Brady had a good feel for one another, why isn't he playing and is Brandon Spikez injured too?

I agree, but I also thought our offensive playcalling was lazy.

I was looking forward to this one. I think we definitely could have beaten the Seahawks, at the least, as a Pete Carroll team doesn't stay consistently well focused and prepared for three straight games. If they can beat the 49ers, that will be the second straight.
