Hope you guys don’t mind me making a GT on your board. Good luck and can’t wait for an unlimited amount of points scored tonight.

The one thing you might want to change for the post on this board is the starting time. You have the correct time for the Phoenix area, but here in Indiana, the start time is 7:00 PM. An understandable glitch.

Haha. I personally don't mind, can't speak for everyone. The Pacers board here is pretty slow, there's a Pacers specific board where I feel a lot of Pacers fans are (and why they aren't on RealGM), but it's such a negative, trolly and whiney place I prefer most of them to stay there anyway. Pretty sure one of the more annoying ones tried their act on the general basketball board at RealGM, and got banned pretty quickly.

In game news, it'll be interesting to see how Siakam being more comfortable changes this game. I'm 50/50 on how this game goes, debating going still. We need any wins we can get, our schedule seems pretty brutal opponent wise for a while.

Done. Hopefully that was the only thing needed changed. Well, I just realized Haliburton might not play.

FYI doesn’t matter to me who creates a game thread. Unfortunately this board is pretty dead but a good small group of posters regardless.

Nice thread, but don't be disappointed when we only post a handful of messages during the game.

Suns 80-70 at halftime. Weak defense by the Pacers. Suns 67% from 2 60% from 3. Pacers 54% from 2 and 29% from 3. Suns 7 steals.

Turner disappeared. 0-4 no rebounds no points only 1 foul. Rest of the team played fair to good on offense.

I think this was Toppin's best game as a Pacer. Won't forget this game for a while. It's only regular season but i now truly think Pacers basketball is back!!! Im hyped!

Great finish. Gutsy play by Nesmith second half guarding stud Booker. 22 points and 7 rebounds

Nembhard playing well and filling in very well for Tyrese. 22 points and 8 assists.

Siakam 31 points 7 rebounds steady stud.

Toppin 23 points 11 rebounds playing inspired.

Smith 13 points 10 rebounds.

Myles and Buddy rough night and smartly Carlisle benched both in favor of Toppin and Smith. That’s huge in my opinion. I Jax no run which is ok tonight.

Now that my heart has calmed down, wanted to add on-

Nesmith's effort all game (season!) on both ends. Wonder when NBA media will stop disrespecting him? But tonight, 3 incredible defensive plays which were mainly caused by determination and EFFORT- block on Booker's 3, on the foul on Grayson Allen and of course the defending on Booker at the end. Incredible.

Nembhard talk about clutch. Three what looked like easy buckets when Pacers needed it most late in the 4th.

I loved that coach Carlisle kept Mathurin in and i know he missed the last layup, but thought he also played some very good defense and showed great effort. He may never be a shutdown defender but he's way better on the defensive end today then he was even 2 months ago. Clutch mid-4Q catch-n-shoot 3 as well to keep the Pacers in it when the Suns were trying to pull away.

Last note, i thought it was super interesting how into it Jenny Boucek was tonight. She was doing more yelling on the sidelines then coach Carlisle at times. I don't think ive seen her that engaged during a game unless i just didnt notice it, obviously shes always really into it during timeouts when shes coaching players but today felt bit more. Was cool to see.

Might just go to prove that his best 'position' is small-ball, 5 out center?... When the Suns went to KD as their '5', OB1; Stix; and Pascal were able to play him tough. Nobody or group is going to stop him, but they were at least able to stay with him & slow him down. Really impressed with the team play (from both teams). Could have gone either way. Who woulda thought the Pacers would win a game because they won a rebound! on a 2nd attempt no less... LOL - a looooonnnng way from a couple of years back.

It was great game we were leading the entire way it seems at least by 17 at one point, but your team has heart and kept playing super HARD until the you guys took a lead and eventually won. I assumed Haliburton was the entire offense but was incorrect as the Pacers can win games and score a ton without him. Obi Toppin was the man played tough the entire night I don’t recall him being this good on the Knicks but he played with a chip on his shoulder.

Overall, the pacers are scary good even without Haliburton. I enjoy watching your team on offense, but now pacers should be top 15-18 on defense with addition of Siakam. Good luck the rest of the season and maybe we’ll face each other in the finals soon. :)
