Pacers desperately need a win against a very good offensive opponent in Brooklyn who’s also better defensively than the Pacers.

Lost to them last time they played I believe. Hopefully they can find a way to not play down to the Nets (losing record) and pull out a win to stay ahead of both Heat and 76ers.

Nets 30-25 after 1.

Once again the Pacers start off shooting poorly at 40% and giving Nets 55% shooting. Pacers going 1-8 from 3 is horrible. Haliburton 0-5 from the field and 3 of those were from 3.

Hard to expect to win when your superstar goes 1-9 and is 0-6 from 3, 1 assist, and 3 rebounds.

Luckily Nesmith is finally having a better shooting game 4-6 and steady McConnell kept us in it. Siakam has missed more shots than normal but at 5-11 not horrible.

First half was sloppy. Pacers 59-57.

Siakam is worth the max. He's everywhere.

4th quarter finally getting the offense from defense working.

It's worth keeping an eye on,... but IMHO, Myles defense has gotten even better with Pascal on the court. Haven't looked at any stats, don't know if that's just me seeing things,... but he seems to be in much better position (better spot, better angle, & doesn't chase so much) against the primary penetrators getting to the paint. He doesn't seem to be biting on shot fakes or feints as much now?.... If it's really there, it could just be him maturing even more as a defender, but could also be that he doesn't feel like he's alone on the island any more?.....

He got more 'flash' plays a couple of years ago,... but overall, I think I would have rather have his defense from the last part of this year? It's the kind of 'defense anchor' you can build around?
