I'd try him out, if hes good let him close. Otherwise let Cordero do it. Actually, I dont think I'd even let Turnbow have a chance for how bad he ended last year...

No way will Turnbow be the closer in Milwaukee unless Cordero gets hurt. Cordero is one of the better closers in the league. Turnbow cost us about 14 games last year. Ever since his bobble head night.

Yep, great to see.

I mentioned in the Offseason thread on the Bucks board that I fully expected the Bow to come back in an impressive fashion, and he hasn't disappointed in his first 2 appearances.

7th, 8th, and 9th are going to be nasty when we're up.
Go Bucks!

I have one of those Bobble heads. Considered ritualistically sacrificing it to reverse the bad karma.

Turnbow has pitched very well in Spring and in his first appearances . that doesn't mean we should switch gears and let him be the closer again. i suspect as we g o throug h the year. there wil l be a n occasio n where turnbow ma y be asked t o close a game.

look at Atlanta. the y have Wickman as theri closer, and the n acquired pittburg's closer to be a set up man and Seattle's reliever as a future closer.

there's nothing wrong with having a great set up man in the 8th inning. I hope turnbow keeps it going.

Yeah I agree. If you have something that is working, don't change it. So far Cordero is doing a wonderfull job closing our games. Don't try to fix something that isn't broken. Unless Cordero starts to throw away games(Like Turnbow did last year) I don't see a chance that Turnbow will be our closer at all this year.

It would be crazy if we kept both Codero and Turnbow if they keep on pitching like they have.

No sense to change him to closer at this point in time. Why fix it if it isnt broken. Keep it the way it is. If he continues to do well and Cordero messes up.. than change it. Otherwise I would just keep it the same. Good one two punch.

Cordero is doing a great job. Turnbow lost his job last year after blowing a couple of saves.

I don't know about you guys, but I snatched up Turnbow off of Free Agents in my fantasy baseball league. He's going to get a lot of holds and his fair share of strikeouts.

I might just do that, if he can get his walks down.
