We need a miracle at this point.

Lorenzo Alexander…ST specialist with another ST penalty.
smfh.

Wonder how this game would have went if Carr didn't put us in a hole early.

Defense is tired... that sucks

We gave em a fight, but had some unlucky breaks (MEJ going out) and some uncharacteristic mistakes (Roberts' dropped TD).. We're not quite a playoff team yet. But really, really close

Amerson is our best CB

0-4 against the NFC North.

The Bears have 1 win at home this year.

All things considered, pretty good showing by the Raiders. Green Bay is a good team. What sunk us were Carr's two picks in the first and the failure of our CBs in the secondary (aside from Amerson, who was excellent).

Yeah, but still very frustrating.

Especially playing at home, I was expecting a much better showing. imo/ymmv(your mileage may vary).

was encouraging to see Heeney finally take over the ILB job.. I didnt notice Feliciano one way or another, usually a good thing for a OG.. secondary was brutal. Only Woodson and Amerson did anything. Cooper was great, Murray was solid, Carr was crap then really good, even with a bloody thumb

Ultimately the game was lost in the first 2 picks and our CBs absolutely mugging their WRs. Hayden once, Carrie twice. Not really sure which TJ Carrie we have going forward, last year's or this years. But we need to bring in DB talent however we can.

I think you're right. I envision them getting one of the STL corners (Johnson,my pick, or Jenkins) and will draft a Safety in the top 3 rounds and a CB in the middle rounds. Should extend Amerson. With that we should take a step forward in that respect.

I think it would be a crucial mistake to neglect the o-line.
I think we need to add there as well as the secondary.

they played like **** today.

I didn't think o-line did a bad job

3 sacks.
5 TFL.

A number of run plays just **** on and sniffed out before Carr could even hand the ball off.

It was disappointing IMO.

Getting stuffed in power formations running up the middle is nothing new - and we even converted a fourth and one that way today. A lot of the sacks were coverage sacks when the Packers were trying to force us to dink and dunk. I'm glad they didn't try to dink and dunk because that would have just run the clock down on our comeback anyway. If we're going down I'd rather go down on our own terms, trying to move the ball downfield in chunks.
