Thought this would be a helpful gif in a message board argument for moving goalposts: http://p.fod4.com/p/media/c3427678e4/qsTItybPQdOvG74fmjGU_Soccer-Goal%20Goes%20For%20It.gif

Does anyone know what happened to Warty? We could really use his sense of humor and his moldy ham sandwich over the next 15 weeks.

For the boxing fans out there, anyone think Floyd Mayweather stays retired for good, or is this just another ploy to simultaneously increase the hype for his next fight while letting the division percolate after having been run through roughshod by Floyd?

I simply can't see Floyd staying retired without having at least one more fight because I can't imagine him wanting to share any accolade (this case, the unbeaten record) with any boxer, even if he is sharing it with one of the greatest of all time in Rocky Marciano.

Then again, Floyd has faced a fighter or two since his comeback that clearly dealt damage when they could actually hit him, so maybe his ego and pride keep him from ever taking the chance of stepping in the ring at 40+ years old and getting his clock cleaned.

(P.S. I wonder how much Bieber pays Mayweather to hang out and be a part of the "Money Team." )

This really isn't my year. First, my dog passed away and now my grandfather passed away this morning. The Niners aren't any good but that's the least of the bad news.

Mattingly and the Dodgers mutually agreed to part ways...

Is "mutually agreed to part ways" a new thing in California? LOL

I think that it's a general sports term that is now used everywhere. ;)

As you know, it's mutually agreed to mean nothing but a don't ask or judge me statement by both sides.

I would like to know what percentage of the tree agreed-upon firings are resigning's are actually decided mutually. 20%? 5%? I guess it would depend on where someone is in their career, how much they're guaranteed either way, and PR. I mean, is a coach is successful and retires, it's never said to be mutually agreed.

I don't follow baseball, is Mattingly a persons who will continue his coaching elsewhere or is he going to be out? If he is going to be out, I don't think it could ever be mutually agreed-upon unless he burned out or they just can't deal with the players. Otherwise, these guys have to have their pride and confidence in their abilities to want to keep coaching. And the money is not bad and some people like being in the spotlight.

I finally got some good news. Even though my older kid is allergic to peanuts and several tree nuts, my younger kid's blood test came out negative for peanuts and all tree nuts. Food allergy free.

My oldest is being treated for her peanut allergy, scheduled to have her first peanut this Monday. She has been introduced slowly to the peanut protein, then peanut flour, and finally peanuts in increasing doses. She would get anaphylactic shock from contact and now she'll be eating one.

My wife has a Chinese friend whose name is Yi Ting Pu (pronounced eating poo)... My wife said "I need to go poo" and then literally a few seconds later, Yi Ting Pu called... I said, "she must be hungry." Must be hard waiting for others for your nutrition.

I told you guys when on Hoopla about my middle school teacher, Mr. Fagg. His daughter's name, no joke, is Gaylene, Gay for short.

Yes, glad you made it.

Still hoping someone will track NinerMind & Warty down some day (and others I'm sure I'm forgetting; Deep probably got sick of the "sub-par" comments).

Never see Warty anymore. He comes in every once in a great while to vent about Harbaugh leaving. He doesn't have much to say these days.

We could use some Warty levity in the midst if this craptastic season.
