Does this feel like a trap game for Tampa Bay?

With Zac Martin being out and not sure Prescott is ready and game ready, I have no high expectations for the Cowboys tonight. I can see us losing by double digits. Who knows, the defense might surprise and we get some turnovers but I have very little faith in Dan Quinn. Don't get me started with McCarthy. Lets see how many stupid penalties we get.

I have Dak, Zeke & Amari in my lineups. So I'm expecting a show tonight. :football:

The Good:
-Run defense looks great, held the Bucs to just 52 rushing yards. The investment in LBs is paying off
-Dallas kept it close with the SB Champs, I expect them to win the NFCE
-Dallas WR core looks outstanding, Cooper and Lamb what a duo, and Gallup is a threat as well.

The Bad:
-Greg Zuerlein
-Pass defense gave up 379 yards and 4 TDs, but to be fair it was against maybe the best WR core in the NFL and Brady
-Run game looks poor, worried about Zeke, no Z. Martin is big
-Questionable calls by McCarthy

Despite the loss I think Dallas showed they have a competitive team this season and will be in the playoff hunt.

I wouldn't worry too much about the run game & Zeke. Tampa has an outstanding front 7. Very stout against the run.

2022 could be the year the Cowboys make it back to the NFC championship game.

Bucs were even worse running the ball than the Cowgirls. DL and LB's did a great job in that area. Got to give them some credit after the dismal effort we got last year.

What continues to be a continuous thorn in my side are the dropped passes, way too many penalties and stupid penalties on third and 4th down. I still worry about the lack of dicipline that seem to cost us 3 or 4 games a year. Don't get me started with special teams.

Michael Gallup out for 3 weeks. He's always making tough catches.

Collins gone 5 weeks

we need to make it though this Charges game without losing anyone

Now D. Lawrence is out with a broken foot. The curse of "Jerry the GM" lives on year after year. The past 8 years especially seems like we always get more than our share of serious injuries to key players.

Lawrence/Collins/Gallup

we can't do that every week that's for sure...need some weeks where no one is lost

Chargers have a very good O-line. Our top two DE's are out this week. Back ups have to step up or we will be in a bit of trouble. This game might be a shoot out anyway.
