GSW @ LAL — game 4, WC semi final
We’re up 2-1 in games. They can steal home court back today. If we don’t see this as a game seven we might have to play a game seven.
Here’s to 3-1!

Yes, I agree this is a must-win for them. While not a must win for us.....this would be a pretty huge loss.
I think...lol. I mean who can figure out these series?? Seems like a big back and forth. One team shows up, then the other. We could lose this game, and then go beat them by 15 in SF on Wed. So who knows??
The Key for us seems to be AD. Which AD are we getting tonight? And isn't it kinda frustrating that we gotta "roll the dice" each game, and see which player we're gettng? I don't wanna harp on the guy, as he's been phenomenal when he's on......but max deal there guy!! You are getting the MAX. Play like a max player!! That means every game.
I think Lebron has hit that stage where he can give us a decent night, and can be our floor general. I don't see any 40point nights coming out of him (watch him get 43 tonight). It's about AD....and which personality decides to show up. Last game was 'Super AD' so history shows we are gonna get 'Bummer AD'. That won't cut it on a night when GS have to get a victory.
So hopefully he bucks the trend. We'll see

It's tough to win at gsw. We did not win game 1 readily/ handily. We had to resort to the bb-gods to give us a lucky bounce off of the rim to escape that one.
They are going to guard their territory better these next game 5 and 7, they only lost game 1 bc of them coming straight from the kings.
We have to win tonite or else we're losing in seven games.
This is a required win tonite.

I have a strong inkling that AD takes off/"load manages" while in-play. He gives a half effort when the game isn't crucial (according to their definition of crucial) and conserves his body that way he's ready for the next explosive game in the "crucial" ones.
Game1 has been deemed crucial by lakers and staff this postseason so that AD ramps up and gets that win. Game2s have been deemed not crucial so he relaxes and saves it for the two home games.
Game5 he mails it in, and game6 he is full on.
I believe we'll take this game tonite.
Another clue to this inkling is I watch carefully HAM, AD, and Lebron's responses to the media when they ask about their game losses. I don't see a look of "worry" from their faces. Their replies are almost retiring and matter of fact. Like too calm.
When asked about Memphis taking game5 in a blowout their responses were just "oh yeah they played great. They definitely beat us. Ah well..."
Kind of tells me that they know they're giving half effort in the games they believe are strategically not a good investment of energy when it is a high likelihood of a loss.

Re: GSW @ LAL — game 4, WC semi final
I consider this game a bigger "must win" than I did game 4 against the Grizzlies, and I considered that game something close to a must win, as many of us did.
The Warriors are too good at home to try to beat them in a 3 game series. Additionally, the momentum/crowd/refs play a way bigger factor in this series compared to Memphis. What Draymond/Dubs can get away with regarding physicality on AD will be substantially different on the road/at home. Yes, we won game 1, but that was a fully rested Laker team with a lot of time for preparation. I would not bet on the Lakers to take another game in SF, and that's not downplaying how good I think we are...I wouldn't bet on any team in the playoffs right now to beat GS in a 3 game series without home court advantage. Can it happen? Sure, of course. But I don't like the odds.
If I'm the Lakers, I go all in to win this game. Certainly mentality wise, but also regarding rotations/minutes. Don't get me wrong...if for some reason the game is out of reach in favor the Dubs I'm not saying ride out AD and Lebron the entire second half in the hopes of a desperate comeback...obviously context matters. But prior to the game, and in the first half, the team needs to approach this like a game 7.
AD and Lebron are both well rested. The Warriors have already played some of their cards matchup wise and we shouldn't be in for any surprises. There is no wild card matchup gamechanger left for the Warriors like how J.Green changed everything in game 2. Obviously hot/cold shooting from either team can change everything, and so can officiating for both teams. But in terms of gameplan, I don't really see a wildcard getting thrown out. AD needs to be aggressive from the start, and the defense needs to be sharp and on point. I'll trust Lebron to play at his own pace based on how he is reading the game, but I hope he doesn't try to conserve energy if he is needed early.

I believe we can win in 7. I'm not that anxious about this game. We did it game 1

Re: GSW @ LAL — game 4, WC semi final
AR has done a good job defensively on Klay and Poole. I hope that continues today. Ditto for Vanderbilt and Schroeder on Curry. Keep it up!
I’m going to guess that LBJ has now healed his injury during the last two games, and will have a 40 points plus outing. I also expect AD not to appear hungover today: 32-15-5-5 or so would give me hope that he’s not on / off every other game.
I just hope the refs don’t try to make it seven games by design but instead just call it fairly.
It’s time to knock these small folks out. Another win by 20-30 tonight would be good. Garbage time with Christie, Lonnie and Bamba, please!!!

I have a bad feeling refs would call it tight, GSW would attack, AD gets into early foul trouble and wouldn’t be a factor. Klay or Poole hits key shots late.

We lose this one then we're probably going to have to win in 7 which is a coin flip. Treat this as a must win.

Warriors are pressing our guards. Need some backdoor cuts to counter.

Old man Bron has no lift. That wasn’t even a foul by GP3. Second game in a row we’ve gotten a similar call on a miss layup/dunk by Bron.
