Jay Bouwmeester to the Blues

The Calgary Flames have traded defenseman Jay Bouwmeester to the St. Louis Blues for a 2013 1st round pick, defenseman Mark Cundari and goalie Reto Berra.

According to David Pagnotta, if the Blues miss the playoffs, the Flames will get a 2013 4th round pick and the and the 2013 1st round pick will be deferred to 2014.

They really needed a left handed D-man that could move the puck now they got two of them.
