-- TEAM REVIEWS --

since ive been heavily criticized in the past for being biased, what better way to skip straight to the source then have everyone review their own teams, so then EVERYONE is the same. seems like the only fair thing to do.

TEAM BronxBombers:

Offense : Honestly the best team ive ever drafted. i only missed out on 3 players i was really targeting, so to get all of them makes me feel ultra confident in defending my title.

Primary Scoring:
Zetts, Stanstny, Towes, Parise, (fingers crossed) Gaborik <-- thats a sh*t load of points. wow.

Secondary Scoring:
Jokinen, Pavelski, Samuelsson, Roy, Gionta <--- holy crap. amazing.

seriously, when i look at that line up, i wounder what it could mean. its so bright, OMG, so vivid. it almost looks like a triple rainbow. so intense.

Defense:

ok ok, if i had one area to be critical, it would be my defense. i waited way too long, and then one round everyone picked a defensemen and seriously F'd me. but whatever. remember what my offense looked like? serious. its bad ass.

go back and take a look. ill wait.

Pronger and Ballard will hook me up with PIMs, and hopefully PP points. Rafalski is a +/- machine, and Paul Martin is a wild card. like driving down the street in a cube van with a cowboy hat on. in theory a really great idea -- in actuality it remains to be seen.

whatever. ill pick up the best defensemen off the FA whenever i want. seriously. i can do that.

Goalie
Roberto Loungo better not F me this year like he did last year. wow was he an as*hole last year. it was like watching a child play little league. and he is really bad, but everyone claps for him becasue if you dont he will cry and sh*t his pants.

Jimmy Howard was awesome. huge mega fantasy crush last year. i sent him a thank you letter. hopefully he is just as good, and i dont have to worry about loungo as much.

Pascale Leclaire -- i met this girl in a bar 2 or so years ago. probably one of the last times i successfully picked up a girl. we were at the Albion for a Craig Cardiff show, and she was just standing there, so i got her a drink, we talked for a bit, she was french canadian, but i didnt hold that against her. turns out she was the opening act. very sexy. her name was Pascale -- this goalie better not sh*t the bed. man up jerk. Brian Elliot is a dolt.

Bench
amazing. bunch of guys from different teams to spread out the games. hopefully some seeing some PP time, and just racking up points i hopefully wont need becasue my main offense is staggering. go back and check it out.

a sleeper C in Cody Hodgson who has a chance to break the Van 3rd line, and get a bunch of points for me. then this TJ guy who i hope will contribute. and fingers crossed that Prospal stays on the line with Gaborik cause that will get me double the points, which is an awesome trick. basically a great bench of guys who will spot fill and be just amazing.

Overall

i seriously have a tough time thinking any of you took this draft seriously. i cant believe i got away with most of my picks. wow. its going to be an easy year.

ok pop quiz, top 5 fantasy teams in this years league?
1. Bronx Bombers 2. Bronx Bombers 3. Bronx Bombers 4. Bronx Bombers 5. Bronx Bombers
HA! it was a trick question.

i give myself a grade of Wicked, and a Job well done sir.
i will compliment that grade with making myself some lunch.

I could go on and on about the strengths of my team, and the improvements made that should make last year's 2nd place squad a winner this time 'round. But I have sh*t to do today, so I'll just let my team do the talking once the season starts.

I will say that I enjoyed picking ahead of Dan this year. I know I stung you with the Tavares pick in the first round, but Stastny is a decent consolation prize, I suppose. Decent floor, low ceiling.

I guess my team is ok. I dunno, I don't really know hockey.
