Really nice to get these wins with Jimmy out. And really happy for the growth I'm seeing in Herro and Duncan.

Jaime with the silent 19. There were some plays tonight in the post as if was doing the Jimmy playbook. Rook is good.

I haven't even come close to finding it such a joy watching a Heat rook play since Wade....dude is legit.

Damn just looking at the standings. Orlando really coming back down to earth with the 4 straight Ls...we pretty much right there again behind the usual suspects Boston/Milwaukee/Philly

When lowery went down I fully expected Herro to take over....two turnovers later...point herro was not a thing. Shame.....but maybe it at least points towards a shift in how Herro thinks of his responsibilities.

With any luck we keep growing into this multi headed hydra and keep teams guessing who is going to attack the basket. Less turn taking more dynamic passing and attacking.

Side note

Someone earlier said something like " I hate to bring up JJJ again....but...."

Dude that is probably all of us.... JJJ is nuts....

I think lots of people would have said JJJ would be successful as a rookie if he did XYZ.... lo and behold JJJ is probably crushing all those expectations

Yeah I don't think point Herro is ever gonna be a thing...well a consistently successful thing at least. He's a gunner, he just needs to put up points and shots and work on getting to the line. If he can put up 20-25 a night he's done his job on ok efficiency imo.

Ya I think that was me talking bout JJJ....damn I'm just beyond impressed dude is so legit.

He and Duncan took over in the 4th. On ball is still a big weakness for him. One cuz of his handles and two he needs to learn to read defenders. Sometimes he telegraphs what he's going to do which leads to an easy steal for the defenders or a block. Especially in transition, I don't know why he keeps on going to the rim when he has a shot blocker behind whose gonna block that shot. If you're not athletic enough to dunk better play is to pull it out instad of getting blocked.
The on ball stuff won't get better this season, this is something he will need another offseason to work.
For this season I would be happy with increased efficient scoring.
And next season he has to get better on ball. As a guard we have to be able to trust him to handle the ball under pressure. I don't expect him to be a primary ball handler but he needs to be better there if he's going to get that top 15 player in the league level

Jimmy is so methodical around the basket....it might as well be a re-play... we have seen the same move tons of times...he closes from the right, pump fakes...and shoots.

Same thing over and over and over...

JJJ has been a little more versatile around the basket...we have seen him enter the paint from different areas, we have seen different moves, we have seen tons of different angles.... maybe he ends up refining what he does, maybe he keeps elaborating what he does...I dunno....but to me he looks pretty darn versatile under the basket.

Need to trade Jovic or Martin for a rotation level true point guard. It is criminal that we only have one on the roster and he's 38 in 3 months. I like what we have, we are much better than what I expected. But we need that second true point to solidify the roster.

Jovic has no value outside of our organization. I dont think anyone will give up something for him.
