ducks vs. minnesota this season 2-2, they both lost their away games and won their home games:

W 2-1
at OTL 2-3
W 3-2
at L 3-4

will it be also a close series?

Last time these two teams faced each other in the playoffs was in the WCF, and the Ducks came out on top of that series with a 4-0 series win. Back then that team was known as the Mighty Ducks though ;)

Ya and back then Giguere was actually allowed to have 14 feet wide pads...Lets see how it goes with regular sized pads...GO WILD!

Giguere was sensational in those playoffs - Nobody could take that away from him. The pads are irrelevant.

I believe Paul Kariya was still with them as well. Well, they may not be the Mighty Ducks, but their at least a better a team heading into this one. When you cap off as 2nd seed and win your first ever division title, your ideal match-up in the first round wouldn't necessarily be against a team that has over 100 points :-?

This one has potential to be a great series.

well the Ducks are up 3 games to 1 all on 1 goal games.

The last game Minny won was won by 3 goals though

I wouldn't count Minny out, but I'm the only one who's saying that

Ill join the bandwagon and say they arent out yet. If Backstrom were to get hot like he did at the end of the season they can come back.

Anaheim is sittin pretty tho.

What a classless end of the game by the Ducks...Poor sportsmen...Watch out got the BOOGIE MAN!!!!....better be scared of this team, in 2003 when the wild won two series we had huge comebacks where we were down 0-2 and 0-3....
