Also the long distance three is his main scoring method although I was impressed by his ability to accelerate past defenders on Sunday. If 3 s don’t fall, he needs I feel to try mid rangers before the Bucks go down big. Khris played a great game of mixing up 2 s and 3s on Sunday.

None of the others is a consistent game changer on offense. And Rick Carlisle vs Doc might be a key today.

Like all of us, I will be so happy if the Bucks win today. Go Bucks!

Dame doesn't have to hang 35. We've got Brook, Bobby, Khris, Malik, Bev. But he needs to score, definitely.

Another outing like Sunday wouldn't hurt but like PatBev said on his latest pod, there's all kinds of ways to contribute. We've seen Dame drop hella dimes. +15 assists. Outdo Hali in that regard, get steals, grab boards, we'd probably be looking good.

Dame knows everybody has to be involved(see post game presser). I think he Doc & PatBev are on the same page about the third look, move the damn ball offense. Need to stick to it with Giannis when he's back.

AJ played well. He just missed shots. Hit 2 out of 3 of those and we're calling him Dairy Bird again. Hit one of those and he probably gets more than 6 minutes. Let's see if Doc gives him another shot.

It sucked watching him brick three open corner threes. Hopefully he gets another shot tonight and shines.

Didn't you know, per General Forums smarty pants, he's 29 years old and already entered Cavs/Celtics Shaq territory?

They weren't bad shots. One in & out. They know its his first playoff game & coming off of injury.

Necessary game 2, feel like there's no way Indy comes out shooting that bad again so we'll see how much the defense & stamina hold up. Everybody has to continue stepping up offensively too, Indy's flat start has happened to the Bucks plenty of times so can't afford that.

Feels like this needs to be the game where the role-players hit their open shots. Outside of Dame going nuclear, the rest of the roster shot 8/26 (30.7%) from 3. Pacers probably won't shoot as bad on wide open 3's either, but the good news is that they're really not a great 3PT shooting team, and especially so now that they're absent Hield and Mathurin.

Some wild disrespect from the national media even after game 1. You can be down on the Bucks for any number of reasons, whatever, but so many of these guys just clearly don't pay attention. Hearing Howard Beck talk about how Dame hasn't been able to carry an offense for a few years now is so weird and disconnected from reality.

First one was a little right and long, might have gone if it was a little shorter. 2nd and 3rd were both off the heel. Super far off laterally (for him, particularly on no movement). Typically he's right on line, just a little long or short.

Tony Brothers, great.
I swear to God, whenever I notice he is in the referee crew, we lose.
Yup, 1-3 record when he is in the crew this year.

AJ should get some run. And similar to game one, if he's broke Doc will have a quick hook. Need someone who can make the Pacers pay for taking the ball out of Dame's hands.

Feeling good about the fact that the Pacers only chance on Sunday was to play 3v4 (double teaming Dame) and they still got hosed.

If we win after Dame scores 0 points and has 0 assists because he's not allowed to touch the ball there is no way I'm about to pretend that he isn't doing enough. His mere existence neutralizes two defenders.

Think the Pacers take this one.

With Giannis lurking, this is almost a must win for them.

That, plus they're going to shoot a lot better from 3 + Carlisle probably comes out with some tricks, especially due to the aforementioned desperation they're already kind of facing.

I love the coaching moves in the playoffs.

So far, Doc and his staff has had the team well prepared. Not sure how many moves Carlisle can make on defense other than just leave PatBev alone, like teams did with PJ.

Pacers problem was on offense. Other than have Halliburton be more aggressive and set him more screens, I'm not sure how many moves they can make. They may feel they had enough open shots and just stay the course.

Gonna miss maybe the entire game during my flight home. Hopefully this goes better than the last time this happened (one of many chokes against Miami last year).

Didn't we win every or almost every game he reffed in the finals run? I don't understand why there's still so much angst about this.

Someone can pipe in if my memory isn’t serving me well, but I’ve always thought brothers is more a ref who officiates Giannis poorly rather than the rest of the team.

*Hopefully this statement doesn’t rear its ugly head tonight.
