So far, Doc and his staff has had the team well prepared. Not sure how many moves Carlisle can make on defense other than just leave PatBev alone, like teams did with PJ.

Pacers problem was on offense. Other than have Halliburton be more aggressive and set him more screens, I'm not sure how many moves they can make. They may feel they had enough open shots and just stay the course.

I must say I was skeptical of starting Bobby to save some energy and points from the bench but Doc's decision to sub Bobby early then play Midd at the 4 was lovely. I still thing Green needs to be the 1st guard off the bench of Beasley and Pat though. Green missed some easy bunnies but I like his defense and effort.

I looked up Orlando's stats from Game 1 and Game 2 because along with Indiana and OKC those are the 3 teams that depending on multiple players with minimal playoff experience. The thing that sticks out is just how similar they played. Gary Harris was a lot better in Game 2 than Game 1, Jonathan Isaac was a lot better in Game 1 than Game 2. They once again got very little bench production out of anyone other than Mo Wagner. And they shot the ball a little better in Game 2 but also turned the ball over 4 more times

Good points. I was skeptical of starting Bobby also, because of the lack of scoring off the bench. But Doc pulled him after only a few minutes, probably for that very reason.

I really like the apparent flexibility Doc brings to coaching. Because he has a lot of veteran assistants, he has a slew of options presented to him. He isn't rigid, which is a great thing as a coach.

As for the benches in general, the playoffs remind everyone that benches become less important in the playoffs, except for injuries.

Those teams with the strongest starting 5 will usually prevail. Go Bucks. Prove me wrong on this team without Giannis.

Giannis, known plodder who can't cover long stretches of court quickly.

Right, almost like he's Embiid or something.

I think we can carve that in stone. I wouldn’t expect anything less.

Like other people are surmising, I think this is a closer game from start to finish. Indiana will be extra motivated to steal another Giannis-less game. But, like last game, that’s also going to put a fire under us. I think the same guys (Dame, Middleton, Bobby) have big games, but especially in Dame’s case, I think it’s a more balanced output instead of just one half.

We need some solid play from our vets (Brook, Pat Bev, Pat, Jae) and our shooters (Malik and AJ). Should be a good game with some chess moves from Doc and Carlisle.

Hopefully Haliburton craps the bed once again. I think he will 8-)

Feeling a big game from Middleton. Get some more matchups onto Nesmith and use that patented middy fade away.

Giannis walks up the court slowly all the time. Not sure why that’s controversial for some people?

Also if you push the ball, you push the ball. The point is to be the first one to the hoop, not the first five. Giannis is also one of the best in the league at pushing the ball.

Tip is 7:35. Giannis is officially out.

If we win tonight I don't even think about playing Giannis until game 5. If we win tonight and split in Indy I'm not playing him till game 6.

Just play him when the experts say he's ready. I could see entertaining this in a 3-0 scenario but you don't want to give away wins in the playoffs.
