It’s being reported as I post this that Vegas goalie Marc Andre Fleury has been traded to the Blackhawks. Early reports say Vegas will retain none of MAFs salary, but nothing is going back to Vegas in return.
The guy is a great goalie, but this move and the Seth Jones move give the look of going into win-now mode, possibly sacrificing the development of young guys. Is this Bowman pulling out all the stops to try and save his job, at the expense of the future?

Re: MARC ANDRE FLEURY TRADED TO CHICAGO
Big question now seems to be whether MAF will report to Blackhawks or retire. It’s reported that the Blackhawks have the feeling he may not report, but went ahead with the deal anyway.
