Well the season is over, without a cup, but it isnt all without fail. A look back...

*Almost won the Presidents Trophy

*Acquired Bertuzzi for nothing

*Filpula, Kopecky, Lebda among young guys that look to be really good, really soon.

*Datsyuk long term deal

*im tired, help me with more

Add making it past the 1st round to that list. Avoiding the choker reputation was a big barrier for the Wings (especially Datsyuk) to jump this season

Not loosing to Calgary in the first round is a plus.

Hasek not pulling a trademark "injury"
