Darryl Sutter Hiring Imminent

Updating today's earlier blog, it appears as though John Stevens' interim stint as LA Kings head coach will be VERY interim. Various sources around the Kings indicate that Darryl Sutter (for whom, as I noted earlier, the Kings had gotten permission to interview) is about to get the job.

jeesh, cuz he was so good for the blues and flames? I'd rather have Barry Melrose's mullet coach the team

Sutter is tough and the King's are talented just under-performing.

Maybe a little fire is all they need?

maybe, but when you biggest problem is scoring why bring in a guy known for defense and criticized for lack of offense? Maybe just getting madder will help, though. We'll see.
