Cammalleri is easily becoming my favourite Hab and he's more than caught up with Gionta for my new favourite Hab. Dude is such an awesome player and his playmaking and stick handling is so ****ing elite.

I love Gionta, but I really hope Cammo gets the C. He's younger and he's signed longer, Gionta is a perfect assistant captain. The only hard time I'll have is choosing between Markov and Gomez for the 2nd A. Probably Marky.

You could always "find a way" to watch one on your computer while you watch the other on your tv. That's what I always find myself doing.

Should be a heck of a game tonight!

Both the Tit Sisters are scrubs. ****ing trade them for Frolov while you can still trick LA into doing it, Gainey.

Going into the 3rd period I had one of those feelings when you just know the Habs are going to blow it... Im just glad we got the win in the shootout.

It was weird seeing Mike Komisarek in something other than a montreal canadiens uniform, i only saw the 1s peirod cause i was watching the yankees, I'm very glad we won, but I wasn't entirely thrilled with couple mental lapses in the 3rd peirod....

I've gotten to the point where I want to just hand the reigns to Halak for the season, and send Price to Hamilton to play out the rest of the season there. That way he would be OUT of the Montreal spotlight, and be able to regain his confidence, and his previous abilities which seem lost on MOST nights.

Tonight it should have atleast been 1-1 instead of 3-1 at the end of the 3rd. The 2nd and 3rd goal scored by Tampa were both on Price as he let out a HUGE rebound right out front on a simple shot on net, and then once again was plagued by a weak glove hand. He had great lateral movement, but his glove... man it's bad.

Disappointing loss yet again, this is going to be an extremely long season.

damn that's a nice article. it's a shame that the vast majority of Habs fans won't read it, and thus still continue to bash Price/Halak

but I do think that the Price haters will go hide for a while, 53 saves and your team still loses 2-0? we really need another top 6 forward, I'm tired of seeing Pleks wasting his talent with those scrubs on that "2nd line" of ours

Very good article. Though I still stand behind my decision to send Price to Hamilton, let Halak take over the reigns. If Price finds his consistency in Hamilton and dominates, and Halak does well and sparks interest from other teams... then put Halak on the block, get a good return and then give Carey the reigns.

True, but I don't see this team doing any damage this season, so it would be best for both parties to get Halak some exposure and show that he is capable of being a #1 so we can get a top 6 forward in return for him. We need another top 6 forward SO BAD right now it's not even funny. I'm not going to take anything away from the way Price has been playing of late, as he's been amazing. However he has to work on his consistency to be a #1 at this level. One bad night here and there is human, so no biggie, however if that shakes his confidence enough so that he goes on a stretch of terrible play again... oi.

But hey, what do I know? I'm no Bob Gainey, rofl.

Cmon fellas, it's said how dead this place is this season. Yes our team hasn't been the greatest, but we've got Markov back now, Gionta is coming back soon, and Pouliot just got recalled from Hamilton after a 3 pt night. Things are looking up! It'll be nice to see what this team can actually do when everyone (minus Hammer) is healthy!

yup, 4 games now that we've won solely because of him. I'm glad that the Habs won the game, but I hate the way that they sat on their asses after scoring those 2 goals. And what about A. Kostitsyn? finally starting to produce like he should these past weeks

I wouldn't want to be Price right now, if he doesn't perform well in his next start, he's gonna get killed by the media/fans

I think that would be unfair, personally. Besides those two stupid goals he let in where it was going over the net and he tried to catch it and deflected it in, he played really well.

Fact is, both our guys play insane for 4-5 games, then have one huge stinker, then play inconsistent until they're swapped. But at this point, I'd love to see what a Halak/Hammer and/or Kostitsyns package could net us.

oh yeah I really think that it's stupid, but that's how it is in MTL, play good for a few games and you're the GOAT, play bad for a couple of games and you're a scrub that should be sent somewhere else.

The game against the Sens was the most frustrating that I saw this season, **** Fraser basically gave the game to the Sens (and refused a good goal). How can you play 60 minutes of hockey without getting a single penalty? I give absolutely no credit to the Sens players (except Leclaire)
