Finch really isn't any different than Thibs in that regard, but doesn't get that criticism.
probably because no one has gotten injured, that I can think of

He's not Thibs because Thibs might be the worst in history, but he's certainly not great.

Is this the best Gobert/Towns game?

Also, best I seen from Suggs since NCAA game against UCLA.

I still feel like we have played at like 85 percent of our potential at best. Imagine a wolves team that has KAT playing without stray voltage, Ant and KAT playing a good two man game and both scoring. Gobert anchoring the defense. Few turnovers. All around elite defense. Good offense. Role players hitting their shots and stepping up. Great execution. That team could win a title operating like that.

Wolves have a lot of low hanging fruit to still improve

defensive rebound better, weird they still struggle while playing so big
cut down on careless TOs, mostly passing, forcing passes
actually shooting open 3s rather than driving into packed paint

Great Win really. Was nice to see the team play a good collective effort. Hope we still strong tomorrow for the big game.

Yep, a good win to go into one of the biggest tests we'll have all season - Confidence will be astronomical (for most anyway) and I think Ant will want to make up for his subpar play today

A few Quotes from Magic Fans

If I'm being honest, this Minnesota team is fantastic. They are a likely candidate to make the WCF, I do wish we were a bit more competitive in this game.

I feel bad for any team matched up with the Wolves in the playoffs.

One of the best teams I’ve seen defend Paolo so far

(This next one is just funny because I see some variation of it with almost every team we beat, reminds me of when the Warriors were first dominating and everyone was saying they needed to get faster and smaller to compete)

We need a rim protecting big, somebody with length, size, and width, somebody that offensive players are scared to attack since they have no idea how to deal with the level of physicality. An elite interior defender, elite rim deterrent, and its even better if they can space the floor and is a reliable shooter who completes every PNP and roll.

Hard to say, we are playing Boston on the first game of their back to back against us and Milwaukee and that Milwaukee game means a lot more to them than our game does.

Yeah, he is almost certainly gone, once his contract is finished. Pretty much called it the second that he was signed. Dude is an incredibly talented play-by-play guy.

Does he even work for the Wolves or for Bally’s? I ask because maybe they had him fill in? NBA TV games pick up the local broadcast.

Not sure but I’ve heard him on other broadcasts before and was surprised at first. Could be similar to a Mike Breen contract. He calls Knicks game regularly but will also do ESPN broadcasts.

The announcers are team hires, I believe.

The Breen comp is spot on. Multiple teams have overlap with national crews.

NBA TV games pick up local coverage. So unless Grady had a side deal with the Mavs, he would have needed to organize this through Ballys. Honestly, I miss Dave Benz.

I think NBA TV has been doing their own games this year more often, probably once a month. This is Grady's third game this year, I believe all have been with Grant Hill and Jamal Crawford (both of which are under Turner/NBA-TV).

Considering he’s doing some National work now, they could just be preparing him to call some games during the Wolves/Celtics finals

ESPN gave Towns the #1 spot in Top Plays.
