For the record, Hayward to OKC is nice for us, because they spent their matching salary, and could have used their picks to get a much better player, particularly one that fixed their size issue (like Nic Claxton).

Someone on the trade board made me laugh, saying Pesti is like gollum with picks. The Precious!

One bad word, but I had to immediately steal this off of the Trades & Transactions board. This completely encapulates what I am expecting for Minnesota today, at the Trade Deadline.

So losing my mind for a second and saying let’s f***** go right into the tax, and right below the hardcap. What about Kyle and Moore and some seconds for Kelly Olynyk?

I like the idea but I am not sure Olynyk is the answer other than he can pull Holmgren's arm out of the socket.

Floor spacing big who can play with Naz in the second unit.

Yes, I can see it's an upgrade from KA in many ways. I am still hoping for a real wing shooter

Knicks Acquire Alec Burks From Pistons For Quentin Grimes - that is a huge price for Burks. Wonder if they are bidding with Twolves

Knicks got Bojan and Burks from Pistons. Olynyk to Toronto, Gafford to Mavs is Scary. They just got way better.

It turned out to be for both Burks and Bogdanovic.

I'll be honest, I'm kinda getting FOMO, with the Luxury-Tax limitation. Really would have loved to get Bojan Bogdanović.

On the flipside, Minnesota already pillaged Monte Morris from Detroit for a 2030 second, so maybe that is greed talking.

This is wrong on so many levels :D
OKC doesn't need another shooter. They need size. Holmgren's best position is pwd fd. What are they going to do with Hayward? I guess use as salary slot for a big name in the summer? Is that even possible?

Meh Hayward will be too injured to make much of a difference for them anyway.

In a way, I think it works out like a buyout for Charlotte. I am assuming they saved a few mil in salary and didn't get any picks.

When he does play he is a Wolves killer.

Knicks just became a real threat in the East. There midseason moves this year have been epically good.

The good news here is that I’d be shocked if the Pistons don’t buyout Fournier. And I’d be equally shocked if he doesn’t end up in MN as our wing shooter off the bench. He close to Rudy to the extent Rudy has openly criticized the Knicks this year for not playing him.

If it helps you have Conley, Edwards, McDaniels, Towns, Gobert, Naz, and Alexander-Walker. That is a pretty good place to be. Plus, we just added Monte Morris to our top 8.

Me too but no way to get him now unless you move Kyle and Naz, which would be too many bigs to give up.

Sounds good.
