I feel like Timbertrolls was going to be officially dead when Rubio got traded. I assumed the main person/persons behind it were Rubio fans though I could be wrong.

You aren't.

I'm only speaking on my behalf but probably there's more than a TimberTroll signin' this:

Minnesota Timberwolves is a nice humble franchise, with a sorta family-style far from the hype and the stardust, struggling' to make some noise at the League and never giving up about it.

Even when that means taking huge risks and make some troll draft picks, trades, rosters, game plans... and troll decissions, in general.
The fanbase is kind and open-minded and has no problem in making jokes about themselves.

Most of us RR's spanish fans may not know well what actually was MIN TWolf stuff before TheGoldenBoy landed there (I did 'cause I liked KG, but I didn't felt it "my team" 'til Rubio).

Now we know it.
And some of us, like it.
