Game 27 Lakers at Wolves 12/21/23 Record 20-6

Post#1 » by KGdaBom » Thu Dec 21, 2023 7:40 pm

LeBron isn't going to play
LEBRON JAMES
12/21/2023 9:08:14 AM
James has been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Timberwolves due to left ankle peroneal tendinopathy, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports. James has been a regular on the Lakers' injury report this season but has suited up in most matchups.

Note I added our record at the end of the Topic. I thought that might be fun to do and hopefully others will follow suit.

Any word on AD? Also does anyone else think it might be Miller time?

Might be? Yes might be, but it could disrupt the chemistry so who's to say.
LEONARD MILLER
12/21/2023 4:53:45 AM
Miller tallied 24 points (10-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists and three blocks over 30 minutes in Wednesday’s 121-92 G League win over Greensboro. Miller returned after missing the previous game with an undisclosed injury, leading all players in Wednesday's G League Winter Showcase contest in scoring while leading all Wolves in rebounds and blocks in a double-double performance. Miller has averaged 18.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.3 blocks and 0.8 steals over 10 G League games this season.

Brow is questionable, but he's always questionable.

No chance. There's been no injury or change to the lineup that would require inserting him into the rotation.

If Bron and AD don’t play we are likely to be up big. Also, did you see last night? Kyle was in rare form. I would go so far as to say unplayable. Give him a night off to get his head right (maybe work on his jump shot,) and give Miller some real minutes. Heck, take them out of Shake and let NAW and TBJ move down a position (they can defend multiple positions.) At this point there is no great reason not to try and work Miller in.

No, we need to do KA like what we did for DLo last year :D Get his trade value up. Maybe GSW would be interested. Seriously, I though he did the best job on Embiid so he still have value for Twolves

He did the best job on Embiid because he was the only one with few enough fouls to play defense. I wish I was kidding, but Naz, Karl, and Rudy were afraid to so much as body him up. Embiid is a guy who will go at you, for whatever reason the refs let Kyle defend with even a hint of physicality.

I agree that we need Kyle’s trade value up. That said every time people see him play I think it goes down. He was wide open in the paint (seriously no one near him,) and he missed the shot and failed to secure the board. Kyle also took more shots than Jaden in the second half and as many as Karl. It’s not bad enough that he is useless in floor spacing and unable to punish anyone off the double, but he insists on shooting when he cannot buy a bucket. He is making Shake look playable and that is just sad.

Good to see LeLoad Management take another day off. What a putz. Charmin. KG must be spinning in his urn watching all these princesses sit. Add James to the incredibly lengthy list of All Stars the Wolves have missed this year. They damn well better fly past the -8.5 number.

They dodged us. Hali was healthy enough to play, just like Lebron. I feel sorry for the fans who don’t get to see them live, but I enjoy the results if leads to wins.

Just noticed the 8pm start. Any reason why it is delayed?

Any Twolves fan could had told them about the good and bad DLo. Oh, it only happens because it is in Minnesota but LA will be different. I don't think so. Once a D-low will always be a D-low.

Might be because both teams on back-to-backs?

Davis is in. With his bad ankle he might not play as well as you would expect.

It's on NBA TV and they want people in LA to watch it.

We have to win tonight. Home game with no LeBron. If we lose all the haters will come out of the woodwork with how we're frauds. I don't want to hear it.

Another slow start.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
