Leave Peter Griffin out of this. A boat's a boat, but anything could've been in that box. It could even have been a boat.

Lois, you know how much I’ve always wanted a boat.

Why ? Would you swim Vaughn across the river and persuade Knicks to hire him ?

Man I dunno... green would be the centerpiece of that trade.. would you want green on the team... I really don't...

Our picks being the centerpiece or three team trade involving someone else

they can keep green. Just get the picks back.

one takeaway from this game is Claxton might be the best perimeter defender on the team. He became the primary defender on Luka in the second half and I don't recall Luka scoring on him beside one deep transition three. On a winning team with defensive structure he'd be up there for DPOY every year.

Yea def want those picks back ... maybe trade green to another team...

I’d keep Green and trade Cam, but that’s implied lol.

Thompson or Whitmore would be just fine too in Green’s place, doubt Houston would oblige.

I don't think they'd include Thompson or Whitmore plus the picks. Maybe Eason. But to be honest, the most important thing is getting the picks back to rebuild, and for them, they wouldn't get any player as good as Bridges for those picks because they hold more value to us and only gain value with a Bridges trade/rebuild.

We need Whitmore in that trade, I would hold out for him. We def don't need Green because we already have CamT. Rockets getting Bridges means they have to give up one of their wings, and I'm not a fan of Amen Thompson or Eason. Whitmore is the only guy I would want back that they may consider trading.

The Mavericks are not a contender and him and Durant on the Nets definitely were. And he easily gets the contract if he wants if he just played out the season.

Just so dumb and short sighted. Probably ends badly this off season. Either he asks out or Luka does. Likely a first round exist.

Imagine you’re bad employee, you get late to work or skip work , but when you get to work you’re the best worker in whole factory

Your employer doesn’t want you anymore , so you look for another place of employment

What’s so hard to understand ? Marks and Tsai foocked up

No they didn't lol. He didnt do his job.

And let’s be real here, they make a couple underrated, under the radar role player moves and Lively improves quickly and they can beat anyone.

Hell just with those two they can beat anyone, any given Sunday. Kyrie is a top 15 player when healthy and motivated and you can argue Doncic against pretty much literally anybody, and he has youth on his side still.

We are one big move away from a playoff team, but so far from a contender.

Nobody ever wins with two guards lol. Its not going to work. Mark my words.

Kyrie/KD was an elite combo when it was on.

Had a much more balanced roster in ‘22 than the Mavs do now plus some of the lesser names had career seasons

uhhh yea Golden State lol .. but yea GS is the exception, they're just different.

I think the Mavs can be contenders they just haven't made the right moves. You can make luka the point forward at the 3 but they need a defensive 2 to fit between him and Kyrie. And i think they need a 3rd perineal star type player preferably at the 4 or 5. They just haven't been making the right moves, they're already trying to get rid of Grant Williams and they just signed him. They pretty much gave away Porzingis and they didn't play him right when he was there. IDK but they need to figure it out because Luka deserves to be on a contending team

They certainly could be managed and coached better, but they aren’t far off and to dismiss them as contenders and yet praise teams like Miami seems a bit silly.

Doncic is a Steph level talent and Kyrie is a great Robin. They are both ball dominant, but they give you a legitimate chance to beat anyone, any night.

Only saw part of this game, how was Ben?

Liked what I saw from Jalen Wilson, I think he could be a decent rotation guy sooner rather than later, similar to Sharpe.

Klay was an incredible defender actually lol.

If neither of them were good defenders they were not winning ****.

Meh, someone still needs to convince me that Kyrie actually makes teams better. Unclear if it was actually the case in Cleveland, definitely didn't happen in Boston, definitely didn't happen here, and definitely isn't happening in Dallas.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
