Boston it is. I'm fine with it. Fun to play against my least favorite sports team in the world. I'm just glad we have a fun matchup narrative wise, instead of playing Carolina or the Rangers or something

Were gonna get smacked, imo.

Really wanted Montreal because we could actually win. Ill take it though.

I'm not saying the Leafs could plausibly beat any of the top 4 seeded teams, but you can throw out the regular season head-to-head stats, since they're almost meaningless in the playoffs. Too many funky things happen in the playoffs, and hopefully something good happens for the Leafs (e.g., the same thing that happened to Montreal when they beat Pittsburgh and Washington).

Boston 3-5-2 in their last 10. Might be catching them at the right time.

Carlyle is going to have to coach his ass off to give this team a chance. They have both the physical and mental edge over us. I don't think the Leafs believe they can beat them. You've also got to get Kessel going to at least an acceptable extent. If he's shut down for the entire series, we have no chance.

It won't be fun watching Seguin light us up.
