Actually Deuce has shown improvement versus bonifide NBA players.. while covering for an injured Brunson last season. That 3 point shot could very well be legit... against anybody.

Deuce has always struggled with his shooting on offense at the NBA level. He also has yet to demonstrate an ability to weave his way to the hoop. But his defense is elite and potentially All-NBA level.

Hard to see where he fits in with Brunson here, plus Quickley - at least at the moment, although Quick could price himself out of the Knicks' future.

Deuce’s shooting looked better later in the season. He shot 39.5% from 3 from Feb on. He played well in that 4th guard role last year even though it was only 10mpg

Holding grudge from high school when playing against someone in the NBA is pretty hilarious.

I wouldn’t be too stressed about the wing position just yet. That role is going to be filled by Hart and he’s played 7 minutes in the preseason. Could it become a problem? Sure but I’ll need to wait for Hart to play more minutes before deciding it’s an issue.

It is

For a Thibs coached team even more so

FO is messing with him and he's messing with them back by playing Sims and iHart together

It's even more shocking considering none of the guards can shoot 3's worth a f*ck.

IQ has looked like complete garbage in general.
Grimes role is to stand around while Brunson, Randle and RJ dominate the ball, in that order.

The offense looks like the same mess it usually is, with little to no creativity. Oh, I guess they are letting iShart do some passing from the high post. EXCITEMENT!

The defensive rotations suck ass.
As usual, wide open 3's for the opposition all over the place. Which they mostly make.
Meanwhile, no one on the Knicks can make 3s, outside of maybe Fournier, who won't play anyway

IQ is a mess a PG. Picks up his dribble too much, still. Can't make reads other than the one guy he's looking for to start the play. Hunting his own low percentage shot most of the time. Deuce can have his minutes.

Looks like it's time for spin cycle, ball hog Randle. Why is this moron constantly bringing the ball up the court? Please make it stop.

Nice RJ is getting to the line. He still has trouble jumping over 3 sheets of paper.

Thibs insists on playing 2 center lineups. Which would suck if the rest of the Knicks could shoot jumpers, but of course they can't.

Roby looks like Beaker from the old Muppets show.

38 wins.

It looks like the team can learn a lot from you since you're in mid-season form already

The refs are giving him actual respect and not swallowing whistles as he pretty much gets blatantly hacked on ALL of his drives..

If this respect carries over into the season, he's taking the next step. Will be huge for the team. One can hope.

he looked unstoppable when going to the basket now for the second time in a row. needs to continue to hit the free throws. his form there looks improved. but he definitely has to stop taking those bull **** threes. step backs, transition pull ups, C&S with the defender in his face. just do basic C&S threes here for now and it will help his efficiency a lot.
other than that, I like what I am seeing.

RJ always looks good in transition/semi transition, when the defense isn't set. It was in his scouting report coming into the pros. He still kind of struggles in the true half court sets.

Still good player though.

He is on the cusp of becoming dependable now. He could slide backwards, but if he continues on his current arc he'll be one of the guys we can pencil in for steady production at a better efficiency than in the past.

Great play by Mitch, makes Townes look ordinary.

Are Grimes and IQ really any better than Shake Milton and Jordan McLaughlin?

Best part of iShart passing is it takes the ball out of IQ's hands, however briefly

This team is terribly undersized at the wing position. Donte, Hart and Grimes are 6'4. Rj is our only wing with size at 6'6 this team is going to get destroyed by teams like Boston and Denver with wing at 6'9 and 6'10. We better hope Randle stay healthy, very poor roster construction.

Been talking about the lack of wing/forward size and length for years but the Knicks only keep getting smaller. Outworking mid to lower teams in the regular season is not going to help in the playoffs when it will get exposed by talented tall teams.

Knicks are probably a first round exit this year because they won't get a favorable first round match up from their likely lower seed if they even get to the playoffs...not guaranteed to get there if Brunson or Randle misses any significant amount of time.

Didn't watch this one, this preseason is the least exciting in years, nothing to pique the interest since it's mostly run it back roster and no first rounder kid to see play.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.
