Callaway should simply decide that from here on out he will make every baseball decision according to The Costanza Rule.

wow allen fell because his asking price is 4mm.

mets draft nothing but seniors shows that they're either going to give him 4mm or are confident they'll get a deal done.

these first 3 picks automatically become mets top 3.

fyi yankees drafted jack leiter who was willing to sign with only 2 teams, yankees and the mets.

he's a tough sign but the mets drafted the better pitcher with matt allen who was the 13th ranked prospect in the draft. like if the mets took him 12th overall it would've been a great pick.

these aren't real numbers, just speculation since allen is actually asking for 3mm but it's going to look something real similar to this with the first 3 picks.

You're saying Allen becomes the Mets' best pitching prospect from the day he signs?

in terms of talent/potential? yeah, same goes for wolf.

kay/peterson are projected to be mid/lower end guys where as the other two have front end stuff.

these 3 talented picks + hoping one of the college players produces and that's a great draft.

if only brodie didn't give away kelenic, the mets' farm system would've been top 10 at least.

They kept most of their players from last year and made lot of moves this offseason. I certainly didn't think they were on the verge of having the same record as last year.

Only one of the SPs has an ERA under 4, as of right now.

I never had faith that things will all turn our way. I must be a Mets fan longer much longer than you so that makes me too jaded to have any optimism. :noway:

Keuchel to the Braves on a one year deal. I would have taken that chance...

We were in the World Series less than 4 years ago.

Fluke. When was the last time before that? 2000?

That was no fluke... DeGrom, Harvey, Thor in their primes. You couldn't ask for better in post season baseball. If we had a catcher that could actually throw to second, we might have been champs.
