I'd rather have AB than Keyonte archetype. He just needs to work on his dribbling a bit, obviously feeling comfortable attacking more (which comes with strength), and free throws.. the feel and everything else is there, and his shot is coming along.

It would not be the first time I was wrong (I thought I was wrong once, but was mistaken), but I have not seen another player from the last draft outside of Wemby for whom I would trade Black. His shot is looking so much better it is crazy. Still really like Cason and Lively, my choices for the magic 6 and 11, but Black looks the part.

Did I mention he is now up to 40% from 3. Low volume, but pretty good results.
I will now need to reread all your previous posts because you are obviously a misunderstood genius

But he just slandered our boy Keyonte!!

I do think we should've made ~a~ move - but people wanting to just shake the entire roster should be eating crow. As long as we do something this offseason, I'm Gucci.

The Magic FO will definitely do something this summer. They are going to sit back and watch Black become a star and then go take a nap.

No they're gonna resign Fultz and Harris and call it good... well maybe sign a new 2 way player if they're really feeling it then sell off our draft picks.

Box score thoughts:

Orlando won the FG% battle and won the game.

The Magic dominated offensive rebounding differential (+5), and overall rebounding differential (+10).
Nice 3pt FG% and horrible FT%

This game will be nicely forgotten about in a week or so, and that all that will remain in our thoughts is the W in the standings.

 what's fun is that he scored there. I'd have been so mad if I were a Hornets fan, lol.

AB looked good shooting, less hesitation. AB also went strong to the hoop one time (and missed, but...), so maybe he's getting some (IDK what to call it...) "ambition" to be an offensive factor. It was honestly shocking to see him take off to the hoop, he's big positionally, so I hope he makes more of a habit of it. More than anyone - I want him moving in with Joe Ingles and watching film together every night. (don't go to the workout room with Ingles tho  ).

Ingles is looking feeble. Kind of shocked to see Ingles' stat line (I mean the 8 assists, O turnovers and team high +15, not the 0 points)...but it's also a testament that you don't have to play like Jason Williams to rack up assists. I really hope his lessons rub off, especially on Black, Cole, and Suggs. I don't know how much time Ingles has in the league, despite his BBIQ...he got blown by several times and he and the bench kind of smile when he makes (or doesn't make) a play. He's a great basketball mind, but it's approaching a sideshow vibe. He's still a plus player - but I'm kind of hoping the natural progression of some of the young guys occurs between now and playoffs and Ingles rides off into the sunset this summer with a smile on his face.

His $11m for next season is Team Option and maybe could be put to other use...I'm not talking about saving money - I'm hoping to go from "playoff team" to "threat to win East" next season...with a major guard pickup and a bench vet upgrade or two.

Nice that we still won in the end thanks to defence and Charlotte being a bad team but I don't know how people can watch games like this where we commit dumb turnover and the offense has no structure at all and still say we don't need a PG because he'd take the ball from Franz and Paolo's hands. We need more playmaking really badly. You can see how much better the offense with Joe Ingles on the court even though he can barely run. And an actual playmaker doesn't mean Franz and Paolo won't handle the ball a lot and get the majority of the shots. They will still be main guys on offense, but their lives will be much easier.

If you take away Ingles production we might lose this game. I have no doubt in my mind that Charlotte has the start of a good team and wanted to punish us.

As I have said, we need a 3rd option. Or just a shooter / creator who can spread the floor. Like it or not, Ingles shot is respected and even his corpse of a body doesn't slow down his mind.

Brandon Miller is the real deal IMHO. So far, definitely a good use of a 2nd. Wemby mania has clouded a lot of peoples minds on who is a good player in this draft.

Here's a fun fact.

Last night was both Paolo Banchero and Jonathan Isaac's 5th career game against Charlotte.
