He's done. Not sure he'll get another contract anywhere (in the NBA) with his condition.

Meh give him a 1 + 1 (team option) at the vet minimum and keep the brotherhood together.

No way. We have a ton of money to spend on free agents this summer. There will be no minutes for him.

The Pelicans game is a huge marker for the team. They are a top team offensively and defensively and will be a great test for when the playoffs start.
Fultz , shame but a pg with range going forward is needed

This is false.

March 27th is first day they can re sign him. Last is June 30th.

ESPN's computers has the Magic's standing over Miami/Philly holding at 91%. In other words, the computers are predicting the Magic as a direct playoff team!

Orlando has a 3-game lead over both. Indeed, the Magic is closer to being the 3-seed (2-games back of Cleveland), than sliding out of the top-6.

With the Magic winning at a .594 clip and with opponents at a .510 clip, that comes to an expected 8-5 closeout and a final record of 49-33.

The Magic has their next 6 games at home against various western holiday makers. We are gonna learn A LOT about this team over the next two week.

I thought it was the other way around, and they had up to March 27th to sign Grayson. If they give him $16m a year, it'll cost them $65-70m in tax. Their owner has money, and he'll probably pay it.

Pepe is correct. Allen can sign an extension beginning on 3/27 all the way through 6/30.

Contract year Grayson... how much do you think he is worth in the open market?

He'll probably get around 4 years, $72m. That would cost Phoenix around $80-90m in taxes to pay him that. Plus, they'd reach the second tax apron and be limited to what they could spend to sign free agents. They wouldn't have their MLE. That's why I was suggesting trading Cole and possibly signing and trading Harris. That way, we could sign Grayson and his buddy Tyus.

Grayson can knock down shots way better than Harris. Tyus can pass the ball and is a better shooter than Cole.

His buddy WCJr is already here. They were that Duke F4 team that had Grayson's last shot rim out eventually eliminated them.

4yr/80m for Grayson? With the ridiculous contracts being thrown around last season you sure he isnt worth more?
