In all seriousness, isn't this the exact reason why JI has been wearing kid gloves, had load management the entire year and probably all years of his career to come? To be unleashed 20-25mpg in the playoffs where he can get adequate rest between games.

He could play all year in limited minutes from the bench and start in the playoffs and to me its just a "if it ain't broke don't fix it".

His limited minutes can be sustained as a starter coming out with your best lineup and allow WCJ to potentially face off against weaker competition.

Either way, the Minister of DEFENSE better be a closer.

I don't think it's about who starts, it is about who finishes and how many minutes can Isaac play without us going into red on the injury risk side. He is definitively a candle that shines bright, but burns incredibly fast.

He should if he's really ready to go and play 25-30mpg.

His impact is on par with Franz if he puts in the same minutes, not this 15 mpg stuff.

If he could put in 30 mpg and stay healthy he would probably be a max player

But its too big of a change to have JI in game 1 already. Maybe when our back is against the ropes, but I fully expect Mosley to start with the lineup that got us here.

No, because that would make sense.

Play it by ear. If the Magic crap the bed first game, it’s an easy change to make.

Regardless, he will play a lot and will most likely finish games.

The fact that he started over Carter who was healthy enough to also play in the must-win finale was very telling to me.

We looked like a deeper team with Wendell coming off the bench. It's also possible that Gary comes off the bench. Gary played great defense on Lillard, tho.
