Wrong. It's all about fairness - hence why FFP is a thing. PSG and City became a contenders overnight, and have since had dobious and questionable sponsorships posting insane amounts of money in the clubs that easily overstates the real value of the clubs. So that's the reason behind the hatred towards City and PSG - it doesn't matter if their owners are arabs or white europeans. Just look at Chelsea - there has been so much hate towards them because they did the exact same thing, just before FFP became a thing.

Do you have any studies proving that? Cause i highly doubt that.

"On the business side, PSG had shown strong growth since QSI had taken over. Revenues were up from 95 million in the 2010-2011 season to 637 million in the 2018-2019 season," part of the case study reads."Helped by the improvements in seating and hospitality, match day revenues had quadrupled, from 24 million in 2010-2011 to 115 million in 2018-2019."Commercial revenues, covering sponsorship, merchandising and partnerships, increased more than twelvefold, from 26 million to 366 million, in eight years."

The fact the revenue is going up are no surprise. That's logic. But that doesn't mean Mbappe or Neymar paid themselves in, in a span of 6 months.

But what's more interesting is looking at how they suddenly got such a rise in the revenue. Looking at all their sponsors etc. I have high doubts that PSG or City have played by the book. Hence why both have been penalized - and only the size of their club, with extremely wealthy owners backing them is the reason they could aviod a harder punishment.

I've seen people already saying how poor the Prem is after last night's result. Wasn't it only last season that 4 out of 4 finalists in the 2 european competitions were from England?

This season has been turned into a joke and that goes for european competitions too. It's suddenly a knockout without fans and teams are playing twice a week.

If anything these results have shown that French teams have benefited by having several months off with their league suspended. The French league really is second rate and I couldn't see more than 2 or 3 French teams managing to survive relegation if they played in the Prem.

The German league is clearly the 3rd best league in Europe though.

Gotta love EPL fans. How does the one year and having Liverpool the year before make EPL such a giant in Champions league over the last bunch of years? Also last year was thought of, pretty unanimously, as beginning of a transition for the big clubs. So now that they aren't represented all of a sudden it's a joke? or Maybe we still thinking of 2010? Champions league semis and finals have been dominated by the Spanish, the obvious three, and Bayern for the last 10 years. Let's not kid ourselves.

I think you misunderstood, are you Canadian?

I'm not questioning the fact that the spanish giants have dominated the CL. I'm laughing at the premise that the prem is **** because it hasn't got a team in the semis and the French have two. There are 3 great leagues in europe the English, Spanish and German, the others including the Italian league nowadays trail in their wake by some distance.

How good is Rico? Rico will replace Navas as goalkeeper against RB Leipzig. Does Leipzig now a better chance to score?

Hopefully Bayern takes it tomorrow. I don't wanna see PSG win it all. The longer time before PSG and City wins, the better.

Red Bull are the name for sporting sellout so it's hard to be sad they are eliminated but PSG and their sponsor country are for me anti-football. On top of that Neymar deserves nothing.

Lyon vs PSG in a potential finale would have been very boring.

Lewandowski with more goals (15) than Lyon (14) in total now.

Pretty bad game from Bayern defensively, though, tbh.

Could‘ve been much more interesting if Lyon capitalized on their chances.

Lyon had a good start in this game, but couldn't make at least one goal...

If Bayern plays the same way against PSG, Mbappe is going to have a good evening.

Hopefully Mbappe, Neymar and Di Maria aren't too fast for Alaba, Boateng etc.
