Uhh French soccer players are very good.

Yeah, but French tend to be pussies. No disrespect.

Its magic! Its just magic!

When Ronaldo missed I thought it was over but thanks to the woodwork and finally van Der Sar making his biggest contribution to the game..

I was far too young to understand the importance of a Champions league medal in 1999 but now this is just another thing.

Props to Anderson and Nani for keeping their cool and its easier for them to have bottled in to the pressure but as always these young players have a thing for the big nights.

Sir. ALex......... deserves it!

In the end, I could barely see through the tears in my eyes and what an end to a great season.

However this is just the start of an era of dominance and we're just starting out..

Glory GLory Manchester United!!!

for **** sakes, half the players barely made it through 120 minutes with their legs cramping up etc.

I'm not saying they shouldn't have penalties, just ideally you want to crown a winner during regulation or extra time. Anything can happen in penalties, not that it matters all that much as both sides were great, its just better to win with a proper goal.

yeah, PK sometimes could end up being unfair, but you could also see which team/players are more ready and prepared for anything that could happen during a game.

Zidan showed what kinda pussy he is. Couldn't keep his composure and went all emotional about something Materazzi said possibly costing his team a title.

Still, he should know its to huge of a risk to be doing stupid stuff like that in the late stages of the game. As much as it kills me, I think red was the right choice. He can't be doing that stuff.

That was almost his own doing. Kind of like covering up his own mistake that could have been costly right then.

just no. Slapping = red. No matter what cause it and no matter how "hard" you do it. There

I think you're right in principle, but it's not consistently enforced and sometimes you can get away with this kind of thing without even a yellow. I don't know what the hell Drogba was trying to do though.

I think if you give red to Drogba for that little sth, you also give red to Teves for instigating the whole incident.

Tevez didn't instigate anything, he was just telling his teammates to go forward and start pressing after they gave the ball back to Chelsea. It was classless but Chelsea did it first. (They also did it against Arsenal in the league and scored from it, but that's another story...) So now that it wasn't his team doing it, Terry took offence and that's how it started.

Yeah i just watched it again and it still seems unneccessary all together.

Now who started first and whatever, thats BS, i dont care. Tevez, like his Argentine NT, is good at making a brawl out of nothing once again. Maybe a question where instigation begins and ends, but i would send him off for his antics. Maybe thats just me

I think it's a good example of Chelsea's style. If one of your players goes down and the ref doesn't stop play, the other team can keep going. If they stop and put it out of play, they've done you a favour. You give it back to them and play goes on where it stopped or you kick it to the keeper. Chelsea, however, kick the ball far upfield and start pressing. And if you're that much of an a-hole, at least you shouldn't be offended and start a brawl if the other team uses it against you afterwards.
