(Not so) Fun Fact:
Harry Kane cost more than the market value of the full Werder Bremen roster.

Promoted Wiesbaden leading the 2nd league.

Would be crazy if they managed to get promoted. Rhein-Main area already has three Bundesliga teams within a radius of like 40 km with Mainz, Darmstadt and Frankfurt.

Probably won’t happen but would make the away traveling more convenient for me haha

They're showing some Bundesliga games for free on Sky Sports Youtube, it seems like. Hope this carries on for the season.

Kane got his first assist in a Bayern shirt, setting up Sane for their opener against Bremen with a deft flick on the counter.

Bremen defense looks hella lost out there.
Surprised Bayern have scored just once.

Kimmich still shooting corner kicks to the sideline on the other side of the pitch.

If Bremen could actually shoot a ball on goal they would probably score. Ulreich is a crap keeper.

Good league debut for Kane. Goal and an assist. 0-2.

Werder should have scored at the start of the half, they had those 3 chances back-to-back-to-back.

About the start I expected. A lot of work to do. Would be surprising to me if we wouldn't be a candidate for relegation until the end. We could really use a good left-back, but who doesn't. At least we have a real 6 in Lynen now, although I can't say much about him as a player yet.

First half was way too passive. It seemed like Werder was happy with the 0-1 at home. Second half started way better, like Baphomet said.

No.
We were just piss poor today.

Best defender Hanche-Olsen is injured.
RB Widmer is injured, too.

Plus we missed two penalties.

Gruda is a baller, though.
Came in and immediately managed to get us a penalty.

Hoping management realizes that the roster needs two or three more additions.

Milan apparently interested in Füllkrug. To be honest, even if they would pay 20 million bucks, we lose way more if we get relegated again. Take the goalgetter away from one of the worst teams and... well. For a club like Werder such a player is not replaceable. I hope they learned from Kruse.

We are signing Marco Richter.

If this guy is taking only 1 minute away from my boy Brajan Gruda on the right side of the offense I am going to personally head to the Bruchweg and riot in Svenssons office haha

Schalke and Hertha are so lost in the 2nd league.

Gonna say it right now: None of the two will be in the race for promotion this season.

Hertha might never come back to the Bundesliga.

I'm watching Schalke vs. Holstein. Schalke are a disaster. As I type this, Holstein almost get a third goal on a break but it's a poor cutback.

Ouedraogo is a pretty good talent.

Other than that their entire roster is complete garbage.

I can’t believe that they are still starting Latza. This guy was done in Mainz 3 years ago. 4th league is about where he should play at best.
They must have someone on their youth teams who is better than Latza. It is impossible not to.

To be fair they were also down 1 man for tje majority of the game but still - a really soulless performance today.

Schalke fans also going home early.

They looked mentally defeated from the first minute. I don't know what Reis is doing with this team, they seem to have no confidence and they look like a structureless mess on the pitch.

Actually, they had a training match Schalke pros vs. Schalke II the other day and Schalke II won 4:2.
So maybe it doesn’t come as a surprise that they have no confidence and idea what to do.

Stuttgart beating Bochum 5:0 last week and now trashed by Leipzig 5:1.

Shows the imbalance in the league currently.

I wouldn‘t be surprised if Dortmund don’t make top 3 this season to be honest.

Union, Wolfsburg and Freiburg all with the perfect start. Leverkusen can make it a perfect start with a win in Gladbach later.
Leipzig looks sharp despite a loss last week.

Dortmund meanwhile with a 1:1 draw at Bochum.

I believe competition for 2-6 is going to be increased. Depends on Bayerns execution if it is even 1-6.
