Kane scores, 1-2. I had a feeling Gala would regret those missed chances, particularly Icardi.

Oh well, valiant effort. Good thing everyone else will likely lose to Bayern so it is a wash.

Just two goals in 6 matches at the half, UEFA must love this.

Absolutely useless all game and almost **** it up at the end. Two games in a row he was given a start he makes Man U midfield look like ass... I hope to never see him starting again :banghead: .

I didn't watch the game but I will never understand posts like these.
McTominay came all the way through United Youth Academy playing for the club since 2002 when he was 6(!) years old and he just won United the games against Brentfort and Scheffield with his goals.
United lost all Premier League games and CL games this season where he didn't play.

This guy should be a well respected player among United fans even if he has a bad game or isn't quite CL caliber. He has been loyal to the club for his entire life.

McTominay is in the wrong role though. Not his fault. TBH, I agree that he shouldn't start, especially as a midfielder. He's terrible at most midfielder-like things. Dude needs to be like a second forward.
The point about being a good servant to the club is well made.

And holy **** Harry Maguire. He drives me nuts but right before he scored he was busting his ass trying to get United a goal, well done you weird looking mutant.

Yeah, he saved the game vs Brentford and scored a goal vs Sheffield ( Dalot won that game with his goal to be correct, not Mctominay). But both games he started Man U looked like crap in first half because he is plain invisible and does not offer anything in midfield. Somebody looked it up and he made total of 9!!!! passes in all game vs Sheffield. I have nothing against him but he should be subbing with 10-15min left to provide the spark in attack, not to start the game and give up control of midfield to opposing team.

I think the most vexing thing about it is that Mason Mount was presumably brought in to play that exact role. It seems like Ten Hag doesn't trust him yet.

McTominay is United's leading goal scorer in the league, isn't he? Lots wrong at United right now, and injuries aren't helping. Just a mishmash of pieces that don't fit together.
It's time for 5 refs.

In these last two games, Dortmund may have knocked Newcastle United out of the CL.

We'll see if Copenhagen can possibly do the same to Manchester United tomorrow.

If Milan hold on here that group will be coming down to the wire (as expected)
