UFC 265 Gane vs Lewis

Post#1 » by GoRapstheoriginal » Sat Aug 7, 2021 12:08 am

https://www.ufc.com/event/ufc-265

I just got my 2nd dose of Pfizer today/tonight so between bouts of throwing up & using the facilities ill try & squeeze watching this in
some how.

Hopefully some exciting finishes & not to many decisions or if they go to decision an exciting back & forth 3 round fight.

Cheers!

Also anyone know when Ontario exits Stage 3 yet?

OMG how is Ed Herman still a thing?

EDIT: NVM looks like he's actually on a nice little run. I think I get Herman confused with Sam Alvey. Still, dude has been around forever.

Bobby Green vs. Raphael Fiziev a contender for FOTY. That was awesome.

No that was just foreshadowing hilariously enough I've had LESS side effects this time then my 1st dose.

What i've heard from people who got Pfizer, fever and a mild headache for a day or two may occur. More than that should be unlikely.

I'm on Moderna myself. No symptoms after the first dose. Getting the 2nd the 18th.

Hopefully they're booing at Lewis. 3 punches landed through 2½ rounds. Clinic from Gane.

Gane just outclassed Lewis tonight. Implemented his game plan flawlessly. Also, he looked like the stronger, more technical grappler when they got in close.

That D'arce that Luque hit was filthy. Chiesa is top top tier in his grappling and he snatched his neck up like it was nothing and Chiesa was doing a lot to fight out of it but that **** was tight.

Aldo looked great as ever, dude is a marvel and they really don't come along like him too often.

Lewis/Gane was pointless but HW is at it's strongest ever right now with Francis, Gane, Stipe, Jones, Lewis and Blaydes all being top top tier. That previous gen (Pride/early UFC guys Werdum, Overeem, MIr) stuck around forever and the next gen (Stipe, Cain, JDS, Brock I guess) had a long run. This era should provide good fights in that division for 3-4 years with all of those guys and there's room for people to rise up still.

At least wait for Jones to fight at HW once before you count him.

Shamrock was such a good coach that his squad was self conducting workouts at the mansion to maintain fitness. And he even managed to make Tito look likable in comparison.

Doesn't matter - I wanna see him at HW. You think you'll be missing him fight? He's supremely relevant (even more than Gane IMO).
