Wow, we are only half a game better than the Hornets, this despite the Hornets having one of the toughest remaining schedules. We might be able to get their lottery spot if things fall the right way.

and the Blazers play the Hornets on this road trip a week from now. That could be a 'must-lose' game. I hope Chauncey gets the memo

this race to the bottom is unpredictable because over the last 2-3 games of the season, a lot of playoff teams rest their starters

Portland is also only two games ahead of the Spurs. There's a chance we could be passed by both and end up in third. Those two wins against Memphis might really hurt us, though.

Have to admit - Banton and Camara have exceeded all expectations on my end. Both are only putting up numbers due to a high usage rate, but they are still putting up numbers.

Banton showing some game. Camara. Rupert, Jamari, Murray, Reath — the back-ups are doing well. 6 back-ups!
That doesn’t count Time Lord, Matisse, and Brogdon.

So, yes, some will likely be traded. What’s missing?

Ayton is the center.
Grant is trade soon or keep and hope he ages really, really well!

Scoot and Sharpe? Are they the starting back court? The only thing I think I know is that Ant isn’t.

Windhorst said that there were a few exploratory talks at the trade deadline for Brogdon, but Grant was completely off limits. Management loves him. Personally, I think he doesn't have the value that fans think he has. He puts up good stats, but on bad teams. There was a reason Portland was able to acquire him for a protected Bucks 2025 1st. And now he's on a massive contract.
