2ND Q: SPURS 45 SUNS 63

Well we followed up an 18-point Q with a better 27-point effort. Trouble is, we gave up 36 points on the back of a 10-5 3s advantage, and that's pretty much the deficit. We actually only had 2TOs this Q so we cleaned that up and we have one fewer TO than our opponent now.

YES we are missing Wemby various times, but Wemby (as half time commentators are now discussing) is far too passive to start games. Maybe it's because we keep missing him as he puts in effort to cut or post up, but he's not taking much MUCH smaller players to the rim as aggressively as he should. He shouldn't get pushed out of the block and settle for 3s (where he's 0-3).

There's a 15% difference in overall FGs and a whopping 20% difference from the arc. We're down on both. Something has to change - get to the FT line (we're not foulding, but we're not generating fouls either (6-9FTs, Wemby is 4-4). Be more physical.

Julian has forgotten how to shoot.

Doug is doing well. Cedi struggling, but nice to have a 1 and 1a version of this type of player.

Malaki woth a **** bagel across the board. If you're not scoring, you have to contribute in other ways. Nada.

Tre with a disappointing 0 assists at the half is in part our misses and in part looking off Wemby (LOLOLOL) to **** take an off the dribble 3 and miss. Un-Tre-like.

We limited the TOs, had some good D stretches, but gave up too many 3s, settled for too many 3s misses, and didnt' play nearly enough like a cohesive team. Let's do better.
